The Southern Champion Tray 10013 cupcake insert is made of clay-coated kraft paperboard, has a white exterior and a brown interior, and can be used inside a bakery box measuring 10 x 10 inches (L x W) to securely hold six cupcakes (bakery box sold separately). Paperboard is thicker and more rigid than paper, is suitable for holding baked goods, and can be recycled or composted. The insert can be turned inside-out to display the brown side for use with a matching kraft paperboard bakery box. The lock corners facilitate assembly and enable the insert to be folded flat for storage or transport. The cupcake insert measures 9-7/8 x 9-7/8 x 7/8 inches (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point.) Each cupcake hole measures 2-1/2" in diameter.
Southern Champion Tray manufactures paperboard packaging products. The company, founded 1927, is headquartered in Chattanooga, TN.

I wish they were a little taller to allow for stacking of the trays (for muffins, cheesecakes or anything without frosting) I'm happy with the purchase.
So yeah, if you aren't smarter than a carrot you should steer clear of these and their potentially debilitating papercuts. But if you can grep the fact that these are box inserts for a box, well then my friend, free your inner cupcake fairy and carry on!
