Joe McGraw is a COL in the US Army. He has served for nearly 23 years in the US Army after graduating from the United States Military Academy in 1994. Commissioned as an Armor Officer, he earned his Green Beret in 1999 and has served as an officer in the US Army Special Forces for the past 18 years. He is currently a military faculty member of the Naval War College.
Joe is a husband and father of three small children. His wife, LTC Leigh McGraw, has served for 22 years in the Army Nurse Corps and is a PhD prepared, Nurse Research Scientist with the US Army Medical Department. Between rotating deployments, the two spend as much quality time with their family as they possibly can.

This book should be required reading for everyone interested in US foreign policy. I don't agree with every detail, but the thrust of the authors'arguments provide a sound basis for redefining US foreign policy. For those who wish to dig deeper, the annotated bibliography provides a great place to start.
