This book is a novelization of the two hour pilot. Despite that, Peter Telep is a solid enough craftsman of sentences and paragraphs to offer a solid if somewhat rushed take. At the very least, this book serves as an introduction to a real hidden gem of a sci fi show and as nostalgic look back on it. Regardless, it’s a fun, if not great, sci fi novel. Recommended.
