"Don and Sharon inspires us to enlarge our view of our relationships with God, self, and others. We are drawn to cultivate deeper awareness in listening and looking for the One who lovingly has our best interests at heart."--Sheryl Shenk "Reviews "
"A book of contrasts--co-authored by a brother and sister who share their personal journeys from cynicism to joy, from the North American culture of dissatisfaction to gratitude, from the mundane to spiritual awakening. This book is rich in personal stories and questions that challenge North American culture, provoke thought, and encourage spiritual growth."--April Yamasaki "Reviews "

My favorite parts of the book are stories Sharon tells of moments in her spiritual practice when gentle questions, new imagery, and patient rest in the arms of God transformed fears into love. I also point the reader to Don's ideal day of rhythm on p. 217 that describes his methods for contacting the Spacious Heart through intentional daily practices.
These two elements alone are worth the price of the book, and the reader will find many more gems along the way.
