ball more maneuverable and easier to shoot and pass. It is a lively bouncing ball for dribbling. The microfiber composite leather has a very, very nice feel to it, unlike the leather ball. Somewhat tackie for easy handling. I love it. It makes the game much more fun. The color panels make it easy to watch the spin on the ball for teaching good form and in general, just make shots with spin look aesthetically more impressive. I don't think anyone would be dissappointed with the purchase. It is an indoor ball; same used by the WNBA. If you were planning to use it outdoors, I would not expect it to last because of it's soft feel, but I have not tried it to know for sure.
