Editorial Reviews

5 stars of beauty, touching every single emotion in the eloquent way only Noelle can. ~S.E. Hall, NYT Bestselling Author

Noelle really shows her breadth as a writer in Spark-funny, sexy, sad, witty and poignant-all in exactly the right places. Set among the grandeur of the Colorado mountains and caught in the middle of legalized marijuana, ski bunnies and hipsters, Spark is not only a story about young love, but conviction, strength, and the meaning of family. A five-star, do-not-miss, full-of-feels new adult read! ~Rachel Blaufeld, Author of the Electric Tunnel series & Redemption Lane

Erin Noelle hit this one out of the park.  She gives you EXACTLY what you want when you want it, like she was in my brain, piecing together the perfect new adult novel... You will love, you will cry, you will be broken, you will be empathetic, you will be ANGRY AS FAAAK, and you will be put back together in a way that only Erin can
 ~Ashley Suzanne, Author

Wow!! This book kept me up all night reading. I'm telling you now that Spark is a definite must read that will have your emotions running wild and falling in love with Crew, Hudson and everyone else that you'll meet. ~Victoria Ashley, NYT Bestselling Author

Poignant and timely, the subject matter of Erin Noelle's Spark is both thought provoking and heart wrenching. 5 stars to a romance that is so much more than a simple love story.  ~Carey Heywood, NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author

Erin Noelle's Spark was the perfect combination of sexy, sweet, and moving. Everything you could want in just one book. She sucked me in from page one and never let go. ~Jessica Prince, Author

Arc was kindly given for a honest review..
I absolutely LOVED Spark! It was different from a lot of the books I have read in the past.. Such a refreshing read.. I absolutely fell in love with every one of the characters in this book. You will laugh, cry, scream.. I know I did.
First you have Crew.. He is a ladies man.. with his amazing good looks, and cocky attitude to match.. but with that.. he has this amazing love for this family.. He has a 15 yr old brother (Caleb) who is very sick.. and his mother works very hard to support them. His family has not had it easy and with Caleb’s medical problems getting worse.. the doctors in Tx don’t know how to help him.. Something has to give..
Hudson is a beautiful young girl.. she has a HUGE family and a out of this word grandmother.. (who is a hoot).. Her family owns this amazing resort in the Fire Mountains of Colorado.. and they specialize in “alternative solutions” in medical treatments..
Just when you think all will be ok…. Something happens and everything changed.. Will Crew and Hudson be able to put all the pieces back to together again? Will it all just fall apart? You have to read this book..
My heart latterly broke in this book.. It really makes you think.. Love and cherish every day you have with the ones you love.. You never know what life will throw at you..
Thank You… Thank You… Thank You for this opportunity to read this beautiful story…

The 3 stars are for the first half of the book that I loved!

After tragedy struck he turned into a selfish jerk. He said and did things that I was unable to get over. I read it till the end hoping he would do something to redeem himself but in the end he was still an ass and she was still a doormat.

Loved MILF and really wanted to love this. I will definitely buy her books again because I do love her writing style.

I can't express enough how much I absolutely adored Spark!! Crew and Hudson both captured my hearts so much - Hudson is one of those chicks that's just super cool and you'd love for her to be your friend. Crew - well, he's super awesome. Totally hot and amazing in his own right. He has such a heart for his family and is willing to give up anything for them.

Erin has this way of writing that gets you in this warm, fuzzy and cozy place. You feel like a warm blanket has been wrapped around you on a cold winter day and you just feel... happy. But with all Erin Noelle greatness, she shakes you up. Makes your heart beat even faster, makes you love even deeper and makes you fall even harder for the characters.

I'm not gonna lie. I cried. But it's a beautiful story and so worth the tears. Spark is unlike ANYTHING I have read. I love that Erin takes the forbidden topics and puts them out there for us to fall in love with. For us to devour, for us to rethink what is socially acceptable and remind us to have an open mind about who we are in the world.

Review for Ramblings From This Chick.

Spark is the first book in the Fire on the Mountain series by Erin Noelle. I have to say that I was instantly intrigued with this book because it is so different from anything I have read before. If you have read any kind of dark romance or MC book, then the use of drugs won't be a shock to you. Drugs seem to play a part in plenty of romance books at this point, especially if the characters like to party. But I have never seen it approached in a medicinal way before, and that really got me curious about this story. This book was different than anything else I have read, and I did enjoy that. I had a few issues as well, but for most of this story I really enjoyed what I was reading.

Having tried almost every medical option available to them, Crew's family heads to Colorado in order to try one they haven't yet. His little brother is getting worse everyday, and he and his mom will do whatever they can to change that. They arrive at Fire on the Mountain, a holistic resort known for their laid back ways. They plan to get medicinal marijuana to see if that can help Caleb's symptoms and provide a better life for him. But upon arrival Crew meets one of the owner's daughters, and the connection between them is instant. They both feel a spark unlike anything they've ever experienced. Crew knows that he has enough on his plate to worry about, and yet he finds himself unable to stay away from Hudson. But with everything that he has going on and his brother's condition, can he and Hudson explore what is between them or will everything go up in flames?

I have to say that I had my moments with pretty much every character in this story. I liked Hudson most of the time, but she was a bit weak as well.

“Whatever this spark is between y’all may blaze into something spectacular, or it may simmer out, but wither way, I think you’ll be shortchanging yourself if you don’t give it a shot.”

Crew, is handsome, smart, and cocky. He always gets what he wants and when it comes to the ladies, let’s just say he has the pick of the litter. Crew isn’t focused isn’t on them, they are just an outlet to relieve his stress and frustrations. Now that he is done with high school his focus is on continuing to help his mom take care of his younger brother Caleb. Caleb suffers from Grand Mal epilepsy and none of the treatments in Texas are working, in fact he seems to be getting worse. As a family they decide to move to Colorado to try out an alternative treatment with medical marijuana. Staying at a family owned lodge, Crew is immediately drawn to Hudson. She is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and Crew makes a promise….. she will be his.

“She’s an old soul. There’s nothing shallow with Hudson. Everything she does, everything she feels, she does bone-deep, from the heart. Even if you showed no interest in her whatsoever, she’d still do everything she can to help Caleb. She’s a healer; you can see it in her eyes. It’s part of the reason why she’s so passionate about the marijuana stuff; she does it cause she knows it helps people who are suffering. I’m not sure she’d know how to heal herself if she was ever the one hurting.”

Hudson is beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside as well. She is a fixer, always putting people before herself. She is also in charge of growing the herbs the family uses as well as growing the marijuana for their dispensary. When she meets Crew and his family, she is knocked out of sorts.
