I'm somewhat new to the adult coloring world but I have purchased several books in the past several months ranging from Marvels Civil War and Deadpool to DCs Batman Hush. I can honestly say that the Spawn Coloring book takes the best part of those items and puts it into one. First off the pages can be removed from the book itself where in the DC books so far you are unable to do so without tearing or cutting the pages out yourself. The images in the the Spawn Coloring book are amazingly detailed and fun to color where Marvels coloring pages don't have a lot of detail and some of the drawings fall flat to where you don't even feel like wasting your time.
Currently I'm using The Prismacolor 132 piece pencil set which is perfect for this item as I have all the colors I need to make Spawn pop off the page. Not only that but their soft lead allows my pencils to last a lot longer and give me the color I really want.
All in all, I love this book and I know it's going to give me hours of enjoyment. As a kid I really enjoyed coloring and now as an adult it's stress relieving and fun to sit and color with my kids. The pages them self are pure white so you can identify the detail and areas you need to color. The pictures are highly detailed and taken from the Spawn comics. The art that Todd McFarlane and Greg Capullo put together for this series is unbelievable and for the most part why Spawn became such an iconic image character. Pick this up for yourself or a friend that enjoys Spawn and they will not be disappointed.

Wow nice!
Beautiful, wow, and I just started lol I used sharpie neons for this one. Thank you Todd! nice thick paper, you can also tear pages out. im having a great time already. ill be preordering future releases of Spawn coloring books. markers barely bleed through. most graphics are on a single page with blank backsides, and a few are poster like where the image is face to face.

This book's bad a**; but not for the impatient. Almost all images are done in McFarland's hyperdetailed style and produces a truly outstanding image when completed. I totally recommend buying this book as long as you're willing to put in the time to do it right.
