--A cross over with Susan Stoker’s Special Forces Series and Lindsay’s Men of Mercy Series:
Aaron Spears was a Special Forces operative and didn’t do relationships. Then Celine Latimer walked into his life.
Then he meets Celine Latimer and asked her to go to the wedding while he guarded the Bride and the daughter of a Senator. The OP proved to keep them apart rather than two weeks getting to know each other. Celine decided to pack and leave and go home but she was kidnapped along with the Senator's daughter.
Now it was up to the SF to find them all and bring them home. Aaron knew that they had to move fast before they were killed or the women sold into slavery. Aaron swore to find her and protect her any cost because he couldn’t imagine his life without her. Don't miss this installment.
Aaron Speirs and Ethan Slade are together in Afghanistan waiting on the rest of the team to gather so they could go after Mr. J and more importantly Caroline and Celine. Caroline was the daughter of Senator Cotter and she had been about to marry a General because it would further her Father’s career. Celine Latimer and Kate had been made part of her entourage to protect her. Kate had been turned over while in the states; but Celine and Caroline were taken to Afghanistan. Now they had to find them and get them out before anything happened to them. Aaron especially feels guilty because he got the civilian Celine into this situation simply so he could spend time with her. If anything happens to her, he will be broken.
Celine and Caroline are being held in a cold, damp, dark room. They had been here so long that they had forgotten how many it was. There was no light to tell them day from night. They were being slowly starved to death. Celine kept trying to keep Caroline’s spirits up by telling her that Aaron and his team were coming for them. Caroline kept getting weaker and more hopeless. Then the guard comes into the room looking at a photograph. He looked at it and at them. Then he dragged them into the outer room where he could see better and looked at the photograph and at them again. Then he grabbed an arm and pulled…. Which one did he pull up? What was he going to do with her? Was he separating them? Why?
Will Aaron and his team get to them before they are irreparably harmed? Why does Mr. J want the girls?
Now Aaron has to come to terms with his guilt. Guilt he feels because he was the reason Celine was at the wedding to begin with. On top of that he can't get her out of his mind something that hasn't happened to him before. The man behind it all is a traitor, former CIA known as Mr. J. and Aaron and his team have one goal in mind, find him and kill him. But before they can work on achieving that goal they have to rescue Celine and Caroline. With the help of Ghost and his team they manage to get Celine but there was no sign of Caroline.
With Celine rescued and brought back to the US they find Mr J's reach is deeper than they originally thought and Aaron has to go off the grid with Celine.
Lots of suspense as Aaron comes to terms with his feelings for Celine and the fact his team has yet to locate Caroline. Fast paced and sexy and hotter than ever.
I cant wait to read the next book in this Men of Mercy Series.
Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Men of Mercy Book 8
Aaron Spears had helped Celine Latimer for the wedding of Senator Cotter’s daughters. Celine had spent two weeks with Aaron preparing Celine for the duty. Celine was kidnapped the night of the wedding along with Caroline Cotter, the bride.
Aaron always thought of his work with Special Forces that he would remain single so his mind was not torn between his job and his relationship. But Celine did a number on him when she walked into his life and turned it totally upside down.
Aaron and his other men found where they had Celine and they went to find her, in the Middle East. He had sworn to protect her and he had failed once and he could not let that happen again.
Aaron lived for on purpose to rescue her and spend the rest of his life making her sure of his love for her.
Celine was held at a different spot then Caroline and so when they got her out it was just her. But he managed to save her from a life of slavery as she was about to be sold.
He got her to a makeshift medical place and then brought her back to the states, only to have the bad guys show them to a room and to debrief her without him in the room. But he felt there was things wrong. He got back into the room before the bad guy was able to inject her with poison.
I have read book 7 and 8 to this series and really want to go back to read 1-6. Each book can be read as an alone book.
