Spectra ide carpenter bee & ground-nesting yellow jacket Killer foaming Aerosol expands to hard-to-reach areas where insects live. The extension tube helps to direct spray into target treatment areas. For carpenter bees, treat active tunnels where activity has been observed. Leave the entrance hole open for 48 hours after application to allow the bees to contact & distribute the insecticide throughout the nest galleries. Then plug the entrance hole to prevent reindentation of old nesting tunnels & reduce the chances of wood decay. For ground-nesting yellow jackets, use the extension tube to spray Spectra ide carpenter bee & ground-nesting yellow jacket Killer foaming Aerosol directly into holes in the ground where yellow jacket activity has been observed. After 24 hours, cover the hole with soil. For best results, spray early in the morning or late in the evening when yellow jacket activity is low & most Yellow jackets are in the nest. Read the entire label before use.

This Spectracide HG-53371 Carpenter Bee & Ground-Nesting Yellowjacket Killer Foaming Aerosol case is completely useless. Like others commented, the foam doesn't work, it'll only kill the bees that you actually spray it directly onto. I went thru 5 cans of this and still didn't effect the nest at all. And, besides the product being total crap; AMAZON WONT LET YOU RETURN IT because they claim they cant ship a hazardous chemical (yet somehow they were able to ship it to me just fine). That was a total wasted of $60!
This product works very well for carpenter bees and ground nesters. However, the case I ordered came loose with one of the cans unusable because the spray button had broken off and was no where to be found. I'm hoping for a refund for that can only.
Press the top for only a second and it will be enough to fill the hole and start leaking back out again. The bee will start fussing and soon back out of her hole. This is as easy to use as WD-40 or electronics duster with its straw directing it into the bee hole.
This is the ONLY thing that really gets rid of carpenter bees. Never saw a carpenter bee? They're almost as big as a hummingbird and they will chew the wood like termites. I ordered a CASE of this stuff and it is wonderful.
I had a nest up near the peak of my two story roof that I couldn't get rid of for the life of me. I used this with one of those long arm reach poles and a bee spray adapter. The foam and nozzle really helped get into hard to reach crevices. Now those little evil red wasps are burning in hell where they belong.
Horrible. Bees had to be soaked in this stuff before they would die. Carpenter Bees are hard to kill, however should not offer a product that "kills on contact" if it doesn't.
Great product. We live on a farm so the angry bees and hornets love finding places in the sheds and barn. This works great and shoots pretty far and accurately.
