This hanger is heavy duty and perfectly fits a 1&3/8" door, which is the dimension of most interior doors. The lady in the previous review did not receive a defective product. Rather, she was defective in measuring the door she intended on putting the hanger on - before she purchased the hanger. The dimensions of the hanger are clearly indicated on the description of the product. This is a great hanger for a 1&3/8" door!

This product is simple as can be but very effective. It easily accommodates 2 hangers but i think 3 (or even 4 holding thin garments) would fit just fine. The hook at the end is handy for bulkier jackets. Very inexpensive and a great investment for those who don't have space for a coat stand and/or don't want to put holes in their walls.

First of all, I'm a bit of a nut for 'over the door' hooks. I find that a good quality plastic one is every bit as good as anything made of metal. If I were to ask for anything else it would be some color choices - maybe something that doesn't stick out as much as white.

This particular one is the perfect size for my 1 3/8" inside doors. The part that goes over the door is a little thinner so that it will fit over the door and not preclude you from being able to close it. But it is durable enough that it will hold up.

The entirety of the plastic parts where you hang things (the under side for hangers and the hook on the outside) is much thicker. This is a durable hook and so worth it, if it is the sort of hook you seek. It sits perfectly on the door and won't move around or become unbalanced no matter where you are hanging anything.
