Perfectly matched cutouts/ perfect fit/ molds to the tablet
Made out of TPU
Thin, light, and covers the screen
Cons: Price, it feels like a $2-$10 case
The edges are not perfectly smooth so it hurts a little when holding it in landscape after a while
Other thoughts: This will not work with the official dock accessories because it covers the pogo pins on the side.
Update March 11,2013
Had this case for a few months, getting to like it more and more
I do dislike the fact that there is no stand functionality but this will protect your nexus 7 from drops. I would still highly suggest a clear screen protector (not matte) just in case to protect from scratches (sad to say but I got a tiny scratch on my nexus 7 before I put a screen protector on, the 3-pack on amazon is pretty useful if you mess up a couple times)
Now, For all I've read about the tablet, I didn't think it needed a case. I hear the glass is of the toughest in the market and the tablet is very well built. Nonetheless, cases are a must in the mind of users.
The case is very simple, only made of soft plastic, but the design is really good. It fits perfectly and does it's job very well. The exterior is texturized to feel like the back of the Nexus7, but I don't think it perfectly matches it. It feels very nice, but the tablet is just nicer, in my opinion.
What this case needs is something to keep the cover in place. I added a big elastic band to make it work like a moleskine, but something integrated to the case would be nicer.
(Edit March 9, 2013) So the Nexus 7 has a "smart cover" functionality. But this thing doesn't? Why is that?
The lightweight, very slim cover adds little bulk, in part because it doesn't include a built-in stand. The lack of bulk is a real plus, because the Nexus 7 tablet is too heavy to hold in hand for long periods (e.g., for reading). When placed in a slim case, the tablet fits easily into a foldup tabletop stand or beanbag stand (e.g., Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand, Lap Log-Basic Black Stand).
This Nexus 7 case is properly described as a "cover", because it won't protect against drops (except maybe drops of only a few inches). However, it does protect the touch screen from scratches when the tablet is carried in a book bag or tote bag with other items, because the stiff silicone hinge generally holds the cover closed. (If you are hard on your mobile devices, you may want to check out the Otterbox Defender cases.)
I think that this dark grey cover is attractive--in a no-nonsense, "industrial design" way. Originally I purchased this travel cover in "light blue", but I replaced it with this dark grey cover, because (1) the cover looked cheap in blue silicone, and (2) the blue wasn't "powder blue" as I expected, but a bright turquoise blue that I hated.
So I decided to look on Amazon for it and prices were insane. Finally I waited for reasonable rate that the official store sales it at which is $19.99. Ordered from antonline and paid: $22.30 with shipping included which was free and they gave me UPS 3 day Ground which was quick! So far in the pass 24 hours the case has worked well with me. It's a well design case and materials to make it are on pair with Amazon basics if you wanted to compare.
People seem to complain a few things about it but their not that big of a deal for what you paid for. The lack of something to keep the cover close is not really needed since when you think about it this case can fit in almost any pocket. I'm buy guy and this fits beautiful in my back pocket. Another is the sleep wake ability when you open the cover again not big deal since when your hold thing the device right handed your thumb can hit the button to wake it up. The Cover stays closed and doesnt pop out of place it has some weight to keep it from opening and protects the device find.
For now this what I have to say on this case in the past 24 hours. I'll Write up more in 2 weeks.

It was fitted for a nexus Asus tablet so I was not what I thought it was. Maybe if it was for the right tabletPublished on May 22, 2014 by TbabY_86
Offers a fair amount of protection for my tablet. I get nervous not having some sort of case on it. I don't like the coverings for the buttons however, it makes them hard to press.Published on February 3, 2014 by Mary E. Thayer
While this cover does provide some protection against scratching I don't think it would do much against a drop. I was hoping it was little thicker.Published on January 23, 2014 by Brian Rhody
This was not what I expected. I think I ordered it for the wrong tablet. The buttons were on the wrong side from my Asus memo HD 7" tablet.Published on November 19, 2013 by Valerie L.
