I use this flax to make Energy Balls and they're delicious! My kids love them as well. Super healthy & we have replaced our purchasing of granola bars which is even greater :-)

1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp. Vanilla
- Mix above together then add:
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
2/3 cup coconut
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
6 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips
- Combine all and let chill before rolling into balls. Store in air tight container in refrigerator. Enjoy!!

I started drinking fruit and veggie smoothies about a year ago. I put 2 tablespoons of this ground flaxseed in every day... The results - I have lost 14 lbs to date and my cholesterol has dropped from 230 a year ago to a whopping 144 now! Blood pressure was a little elevated and is now completely normal. I can honestly tell you all that I will be doing this for the rest of my life!!!

My partner and I had upset stomachs every time we had smoothies made with this flaxseed from Amazon, so much so that we've developed a dietary sensitivity towards flaxseed in general. We previously had no issues with ground flaxseed purchased from our local Wholefoods. After speaking to a nutritionist, we learned that ground flaxseed can go rancid very quickly, so I'm suspicious about how long ours had been sitting in Amazon's inventory. If you want ground flaxseed, either grind it yourself or purchase from a trusted supplier and store in your freezer.
