It's quite expensive for a 20oz bottle, but it is concentrated. You will need to mix 1oz Speed Zone per gallon of water, as indicated on the product label. (1 oz. = 2 tbls.)
I can spot treat my entire lawn (7500 sq. ft.) with only 2 oz of Speed Zone concentrate. So, as it turns out, it is quite economical for my purposes.
As far as its effectiveness, this stuff is fantastic. It whacks everything you spray it on EXCEPT your lawn. In my case, cool season grasses - Tall Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass mixture in Northern Virginia.
All this leads me to my next point... Be careful where you spray it! A slight breeze while you're spraying near the flower bed and you've just whacked the wife's garden. Walk away slowly and disavow any knowledge.
I have been able to completely turn around my crappy lawn (inherited from the previous owner) in large part thanks to Speed Zone. I would recommend it to anyone. My search for a consistent, effective herbicide is over.
A brief follow-up. I have used this product on three different occasions and have found that you need to pay attention to the directions in terms of when to apply. On one treatment, I sprayed just prior to an overnight rain and it was not as effective as the other two treatments. It is best to apply when the weather is dry and hot and the product is not diluted after application.
You pay more that for cheaper weed killers available at the local home improvement stores, but eventually pay more for less effective products.
It was shipped from the seller very fast.

This stuff really works which is good because it's pretty expensive. Took about a week to really clear everything out and I had a completely weed free lawn from spring to summer. Read morePublished 4 days ago by Michael P. Marrone
