TRS Review--Genetic Attraction by Tara Lain
Thereis so much emotion between the pages of this book that I found it hard to putdown. This is one of the best M/M stories I have read and one I will be readingagain. The story of Jake and Roan is so exquisite I walked away from this taleloving them both.
Long and Short Reviews -- The Scientist and the Supermodel
TaraLain knows how to write her men, breathe life into them and give them just theright amount of sensitivity without making them a weeping mess. They are funny, sensual and endearing, the same as her wonderful book.

From the Author
Tara: Hello, Dr. Barth. It's wonderful to see you again.
KB: Please, call meKillian.
Tara: (Points to blackcat wrapped around Killian's neck) Who's your friend?
KB: Ah, this is Aloysius, my familiar. We are inseparable. At his insistence.
Tara: What does a familiar do?
KB: As the old joke goes, anything he wants. But inparticular, he magnifies power. If I cast a spell and pet Aloysius, or even ifhe is just present, the spell will become stronger.
Tara: That must be very strong since you're the mostpowerful witch in 10 generations.
KB: Shrugs. Well, witchery has been declining in power so I'm not such a big deal.
Tara: I'm sorry to hear that. Can you tell us why?
KB: We are taught that our power is in decline because ofinterbreeding with humans. Those devils are so attractive we can't seem toresist them. Then they deplete our power until we have none. (He sighs)
Tara: How are you going to save the race of witches?
KB: I have to marry the most powerful female witch of ourgeneration and produce offspring. (Heshudders.)
Tara: You don't seem too thrilled with the idea.
KB. Don't misunderstand. She is a lovely witch. But I amhomosexual and do not appreciate the sexual attraction of females.
Tara: Why don't you just artificially inseminate?
KB: Sadly, the sperm of witches cannot live outside ourbodies.
Tara: You are in a fix. What are you going to do?
KB: My duty I suppose. But I would have liked to experiencelove once in my lifetime.
Tara: How does the female witch feel about it?
KB: Her situation is even sadder. She is in love withsomeone else. But he is human!
Tara: Oh dear, that's awful. And you've never been in love?
KB: No. Being the Witch Master means other males are eitherafraid of me or want to use me. Plus, I have to confess this terrible thing. There is this human physics professor who just came to our college. I havenever met anyone like him. I know I have to stay away from him but...he is soirresistible. Worst of all, Aloysius loves him and keeps rubbing and purringall over him. It's disgusting. I wish I could do it.
Tara: And this human could deplete you! It sounds likeyou're in a lot of trouble.
KB: Yes, I'm thinking I have to cast a love spell to attracta male witch who can get me to stop thinking about this human.
Tara: Wow. Are you sure that's a good idea?
KB: No. But I must do something!
Tara: Good luck. You have quite a story.
KB: Yes, I think it would make a good book.
Tara: I'll see what I can do.
