Use to detect leaks

I use these colors in the toilet tanks to check for leaks when my water bill is unusually high. Put a several drops of a color in the tank and don’t use or flush for a day. If the water in the bowl is colored the next day, you have a leak. If the water in the bowl is clear, no problem. I was able to detect a very slow leak requiring a new flapper in one toilet. The product keeps for years and saves a lot of money. My plumber charges $125 for a visit.

It's so hard to find real liquid food color anymore. All of them are gel types which aren't appropriate for me. I use these for coloring in food photography. Love the concentration. Just a few drops goes a long way. This is a "blue martini" shot I did utilizing the blue food coloring. Great product which I'm sure I'll be reordering fairly soon as I use a lot of this stuff.

It does what it's intended. I also used it to make homemade "stained-glass" paint for children's crafts, mixing a drop to a few drops in small vessels of clear Elmer's glue, then stirred. Made lovely colors.

(Editing to correct typo in title and clarify last paragraph.) Good, strong color. I don't need yellow, and the red was strong enough for me to darken both my yellow food color marker and the yellow in this box.

I received it on time and in good condition, although one color had leaked a little at the cap. The package was completely heat sealed in plastic, plus the leakage was mostly dry , so I wasn't worried about using it. I believe ithe cap was not tampered with, just loosened a bit in processing.

I wanted these to refill food coloring markers of another brand. The dropper was small enough to do it without transferring to an eye dropper.

I use generic acetaminophen with aspirin and straight generic acetaminophen, often taking one of each. Once out of the bottle, they look identical, so I mark the straight acetaminophen ones with a dab of food coloring to differentiate.

Since I'd overfilled one of the markers, the color came out heavier than expected. I had to let it dry, but could see that the color was well pigmented and strong.

Not only that, but even though they are larger and cost a little more, they will last due to their size.

Yes, the output of money for the larger size is about $1.00 or so more than in the stores, since these are larger bottles, they will last, so in the long run it will actually be cheaper.

The dyes are food grade safe, so you don't have to worry about additives.

This particular product offers the same colors as the national brand.

I recommend you try this the next time you need a food dye.
