I needed a small hammer for my office. It doesn't get much use, but occasionally I just need a hammer for something small, and I don't want to walk down to the storage room where the tools are. I also didn't want to take up much space. This was a perfect compromise. I've used it a fair bit, and it is comfortable and gets the job done. It also looks pretty snazzy hanging on the wall. This would not be great for daily use - I'd definitely want a full-sized hammer for that. But for occasional use this may be ideal.
