Somewhat of a hassle (and tips to keep Airpods from falling out of your ears)

This works, but it's a bit of a hassle to use, which means I don't use it super often.

First off, this is supposed to wrap around your Airpods case. Yeah, you can do it, but it isn't super secure, and it takes time to do it right. I just keep mine separately (which there's no good way to do, since it doesn't stay coiled naturally). Additionally. the clip to hold the ends together broke after about a year of moderate use.

Next up, attaching the strap to your Airpods. First off, it's a very tight fit, which is good from a safety perspective (I never worried about my earbuds coming loose), but makes for a slow process to slide the silicon over the earbuds.

A number of reviewers complained about the strap pulling the Airpods out of their ears. I had this problem at first myself, but discovered the solution. The strap does not twist easily. That means if it doesn't lie flat around your neck, it will apply a rotational force onto your Airpods, which makes them fall out of your ears. The solution to this is to install the strap on one earbud, then put both earbuds in your ears. Run the strap around your neck and attach it to the other earbud in your ear, so that there's no twisting force in the strap. With that, I have very little trouble with them falling out.

Then, you need to charge your Airpods. Getting them detached from the strap is a slow process, due to the tight fit. Also, worth noting that you can't just charge one earbud while using the other, since the strap has no effect in that case.

All told, yes, this product works; but it's significantly more hassle than I anticipated, and as a result, I don't use it nearly as much as I was expecting to.

I wear these for work and like others have said they do sometimes pull the AirPods out of my ears, especially if you keep it looped around the back of your neck while wearing them, I have a pretty active job so I move around a lot. I have gotten around this by keeping it in front while I work and looping it around my neck when I take them out. I bought this because I frequently need to take my headphones in/out while at work and shoving one in my pocket was getting annoying because I would lose it in there or it would start playing in my other ear. I have also been worried about dropping my headphones in water or something at work. Overall it mostly does what I need it to do, it would be nice to keep it around my neck all the time so I could take one out as needed to stop the music and talk to people, without needing to take out both and put it around my neck. If it were a few inches longer it would be even better.

Contrary to many of the reviews of this item by people who couldn't possibly have tried them (because they were written BEFORE the AirPods were even released) these are exactly what I wanted.

Yes - I bought the AirPods because I didn't want wires, but that doesn't mean I don't want a way to hang them around my neck during times that I want them out of my ears and/or don't want to carry the charging case. And BT headsets that are connected by a wire still aren't connected to the phone by wire.. so ignore most of the previous comments on this item.

The good: they are exactly as described and a nice tight fit - the AirPod is not going to fall out.
The bad: they should be several inches longer because used as designed, they are basically wrapped around my neck instead of hanging like a necklace.

If you have a small neck, these are for you. Otherwise, you might want to check length before ordering a similar product.

Keeps your AirPods together. I also bought a cheaper one made of rubber. The Spigen feels much better as it’s made from some kind of TPU material. After opening the 2 packages and comparing them, I immediately decided the Spigen was the one to keep and gave the rubber one to my housemate.

I also got Spigen RA200 rubber ear hooks because that’s the only way AirPods will stay in my ears. A strap accessory complicates installation and removal of the ear hooks each time I need to put the AirPods in the charging case or take them out. I hope someone makes a combination strap + earhook that snaps on/off easily.

Just got my Airpods after a 6 week wait. I had ordered this strap to have on hand as I am active and didn't want to take a chance on losing the Airpods. I walk, bike and exercise daily so I knew they wouldn't stay in. The strap works great. I have the strap behind my neck and then use a hook that I made out of a grocery produce bag twisty to tie the two sides of the strap together under my chin. The strap and tie hold the Airpods snugly in my ears. I have had zero problems with them popping out. The strap also is handy for when I don't want the Airpods in my ears as they can just hang around my neck. I've attached a photo showing the twisty tie on the strap.

These hold on to the AirPods very tightly and the strap is lightweight and doesn't pull down like some other Bluetooth earphones that are wired to each other. I am able to get the strap over my head while the AirPods are still in my ears so that's a plus too (taking the AirPod out of your ear interrupts whatever is playing).
The only thing I dislike is that I can not get the strap to wrap around the storage case as shown in the photos. I end up with about an inch and a half that is too long and hangs out but not long enough to wrap around the case one more time to clip to itself. If they had included two clips it would make storage easier.
Other than that it's a great product so far.

You’d think this is obvious idea and why did Apple themselves not make one? Well... as it turns out this is as helpful as a plastic spoiler in the back of a Ferrari. But fair dues, I thought it was an obvious accessory for my Apple accessory. At first, at least. Not so. The AirPod is perfectly balanced to stay in your ear and everything about it is just right. But once you add the strap, every neck movement tends to push it up and out of your ears. Ok... you’re not going to lose your AirPods but you might also end up not using them. Don’t bother.

AirPods are supposed to stay in your ears and for most people they do. I’ve never had one fall out. However I have on several occasions knocked one out or been wearing a loose hood when running and it’s fallen out on contact. Eventually I lost one - my fault - running in the dark and it cost me £140 for a new set! So I bought these Spigens. They are over priced to say the least, but it’s cheaper than a new set of headphones! They’re unobtrusive and it stops them getting lost if you clumsily knock it. Just don’t pull the headphones out - ease them out slowly or it can stress the material and break it. Did that to my first set!

Powering them on they flash red and blue from the white stem, sometimes take a while to connect to bluetooth and feel cheap and plastic. Worth the money if you're just using them at your desk, but lose connection if you have any object in the way between them and the device (phone etc) as I found with my body getting in the way when I put my phone in my pocket whilst cycling.
Overall, a good cheap apple airpod alternative for those who want to sit at the desk (line of sight) with them, but audio quality - while acceptable - isn't one for audiophiles.

Ended up returning these after I returned my AirPods due to the incompatibility with Microsoft Teams. Had to contact Amazon customer service to request a paid return as the online route was resulting in return postage costs.
