Everything I was looking for.

This is a short-term review, mainly initial impressions, as I have owned the case for 2 days so far.

First impression: Thin, attractive, well-made. Adds considerable grip and a reasonable amount of shock resistance for a case this thin. I have long been a fan of TPU cases, whether clear or black matte, it's an ideal plastic for the application.

Pros:
+ Excellent look and feel, no sharp edges, fantastic clarity and the parting lines of the mold are subtle
+ Micro-dot pattern on back is subtle but a nice touch, and does achieve the intended purpose
+ Perfect amount of protruding material to protect front screen and camera lens when placing on a table
+ Snug fit, no gaps
+ Grippy material

Cons:
- Alignment of holes and buttons is good, not great. No issues with button presses, but visually the button protrusions are a bit low (towards back of phone). The speaker cutout actually overlaps a fraction (perhaps 1/4th) of the upper row of speaker holes. Not a big deal but I could see it reducing phone volume ever-so-slightly.
- Clear back attracts fingerprints and smudges, though not more than expected

Overall: 5/5, one of the best first impressions I've gotten from a case. I imagine this will eventually turn yellowish with UV exposure, as clear TPU tends to do, but for the price I'm fine with that.

I finally found a slim, clear case I love.

I tried the JETech and loved the feel and design, but I had to return it because the idea of the camera resting on the flat surface did not sit well with me.

I then bought the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, but it was bulkier than I wanted, the bottom was uncomfortable to hold for my pinkie placement, and the sharp edge hurt my ear when on the phone. I returned that as well.

I decided to buy the Spigen Ultra Thin despite the alignment issues I have read in the reviews and I am so glad I did. It adds barely any bulk and it is extremely comfortable to hold. You can barely tell there is a case on it by looking at the phone. There is a very small alignment issue with the buttons, but I think this is due to the case being so thin and lacking the hard plastic form to mold to the phone. I am very particular about my cases, but if I have to deal with a very small alignment issue to have such a soft, comfortable case, I will take it.

Some of the Pros:
- Very Little Bulk
- Comfortable to Hold
- Textured back to prevent rainbow effect
- Still get clicky feel and sound on buttons
- Raised edge so camera does not rest on flat surface

Some Cons (I knew these before purchasing)
- Very small alignment issue on buttons
- Not much drop protection

UPDATE (9/15/15): Two months in and I am looking for a new case. I will not change the rating for this case because I feel there is nothing a manufacturer can do, but the discoloration is just too much for me. For a case that is suppose to chow off the looks of my phone, it is only destroying it.

Nice case for the S6!

This is a great slim-fitting case for the Galaxy S6. Virtually adds no bulk to it at all, allows for a great feel in your hand and pocket. It's extra thick at the corners for the those drops we all hope to avoid, and it's virtually clear so you can still see your S6 as it was intended. I was hesitant at first about those dots it advertises, but they really do not inhibit the transparency of the case at all.
My only gripe is that the volume rocker buttons do not exactly line up, though it does not inhibit the functionality at all; more cosmetic than anything. The power button lines up perfectly, so no issue there. For a brand like Spigen, and their cost, you'd expect it to be perfect, as in my past cases with them.
At any rate, I consider it a good case for the S6 and good buy as well. I would recommend this case for anyone interested in a clear, thin case to showcase their S6 without compromising in the protection department.

At first, the case was pretty good. However, when i took it out of the package, i noticed the over all feel of the case was really not great. The edges were scratchy, the cutouts were sharp and it fit pretty lose on the sides. However, I noticed a small tare in the material near one of the cut outs.

I contacted Spigen support who were just AMAZING really. They apologized for the issue and offered to send me a new one in a couple weeks when the REDESIGNED version was in. I agreed and waited. It finally came in yesterday and all I can say is I LOVE THIS CASE NOW.

All the edges and cut outs are MUCH smoother. Still not perfect, but not sharp and irritating at all anymore. The case itself fit the phone MUCH more snug in every way and the texture inside the back of the case really makes the back of the phone pop and look fantastic. Great job with the redesign and fantastic customer support!

Alignment of buttons still don't match and can't fit the phone

Great idea and concept - it's really thin and makes the S6 feel slim as if it was naked. Only issue is nothing lines up - the buttons on the case don't line up with the buttons on the phone. Also there were mold marks from the molding process on th eback and the corner. I used other spigen cases but wanted something slimmer... going to return this due to the alignment issue. The mold that makes this is undersized or atleast mine was.

Whole thing adds only a couple of mm to the dimensions. Easily installed and fits very well. Good feel in the hand. Tactical plastic that adheres to your hand to prevent dropping. Yet it slips easily into a shirt of pant pocket; easily retrieved without catching.

Best case so far...

This is the best case I've found so far for my S6. It looks great being nice and thin so not adding much bulk to what is lets face it quite a large phone. Feels great to hold - in fact actually makes the S6 more comfortable to use as it's quite grippy where as the phone itself is very slippery. It is made from very good quality soft plastic that is actually clear rather than a funny shade of yellow you sometimes get. The inside back has a subtle dot effect which keeps it from having a smudged or similar effect on the back of the phone that you get with some clear cases on phones with glass backs, it works reasonably well and actually looks great too, however some rainbow effect is visible in some lighting conditions on the case itself probably due to the type of plastic used, though most of the time you cant see it. It offers good all round protection, with a small lip on the front to protect the screen as well as around the camera to keep them it any surface. The buttons are fully covered as well and it doesn't make them any harder to use. It's also really easy to fit and remove due to it being made from soft not ridged plastic which is a huge bonus compared to some other cases.

Only real negative is that it seems to be slightly weak on the left hand edge, hard to explain really - it doesn't quite cover the metal edge by literally half a mm, but it does on the right side. Not really sure why, maybe it's twisted slightly or something. It doesn't really matter and the case still works perfectly, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

E' la terza cover che provo per il mio S6 (white pearl), le altre, la Samsung Custodia Clear Cover per Galaxy S6, Argento originale Samsung mi ha proprio deluso in quanto non protegge al 100% la fotocamera ed ha una protezione totale quasi nulla, e la InnoBeta Custodia Bumper Case per Samsung Galaxy S6 - Cover Ultra Sottile in Gel Morbido TPU Resistente ai Graffi ottima nel complesso ma anche lei pecca non proteggendo per nulla la fotocamera, le ho messe da parte.

Non c'è storia con le precedenti, ineccepibile nella costruzione avendo praticamente nessuna sbavatura e sembra creata da un unico pezzo di tpu e non comsposta da due pezzi, il retro ed il bordo, poi uniti insieme come è facile osservare nelle cover economiche.

Perfetta nelle forature della tpu dove ci sono microfoni presa usb infrarossi ed altoparlante (anche se c'è un foro in più per un secondo microfono in basso che non esiste) ed anche la copertura del tasto accensione e del volume è ottima.

Ha quel grip che basta per sopperire alla troppa scivolosità del S6.

Trasparentissima e senza i tipici problemi delle comuni altre cover in tpu che tendono a creare bolle d'aria o di contatto comunque visibili e fastidiose sul retro, dato che è leggermente "bruzzolosa" al suo interno evitando appunto questo fastidiosissimo problema.

La fotocamera posteriore poi, vero problema di questo device dato che sporge parecchio, è perfettamente protetto dal rialzo in tpu che non sembra neanche aggiunto al resto della cover, sembra veramente una parte di un unico pezzo di cover.

La consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che non vogliono appesantire troppo il device ma avere allo stesso tempo una media protezione agli urti ed alle cadute e la totale protezione della fotocamera posteriore senza per questo sminuire la bellezza e le forme di questo splendido S6.

Second one of these I've purchased. Fits perfectly and protects back and sides of phone. Has holes where they need to be for charging and earphone ports as well as cut outs for speakers. Raised part on back protects the camera of the phone that juts out. Very slim case that protects phone well. I've used it in combination with a glass screen protector and have dropped the phone a few times from about 1.5 metre heights without damage to anything. Transparency allows you to see the beauty of the phone's design. I only replaced it as I needed to replace the screen protector. Didn't really need to replace but thought might as well as over time the case has yellowed slightly as most things do. That said, it's not yellowed that badly. Has a slightly rubbery feel so not so droppable, compared to the phone without protection. Really good cheap price for good quality. I always keep a screen cloth with me for the screen of the phone. That said I am constantly photographing my work whilst using clay and plaster etc and so this protector is a must for me. Personally I'd prefer to use this design with fully open ports rather than a case with bits that can plug up the ports as they're likely to snap off when in your pocket etc. And may get stuck in the ports making access a problem.

J'étais plutôt "étui à rabat" et j'ai voulu tester la combinaison coque transparente + verre trempé. Au final, je suis resté sur cette solution qui permet de profiter davantage du design du téléphone et de ne pas masquer la led de notification.

La coque est bien transparente et bien ajustée au téléphone (Galaxy S6). Les boutons sont protégés par la coque (on appuie dessus à travers la coque, affinée au niveau des boutons). Toute la connectique reste accessible (coque ajourée). Elle permet aussi de poser le téléphone, sans que celui-ci ne glisse (le S6 est particulièrement filou sur ce point avec son dos en verre).

J'enlève néanmoins une étoile car il y avait quelques traces à l'intérieure de la coque. Comme la face intérieure est granuleuse, je n'ai pas réussi à les enlever. De plus la coque n'épouse pas parfaitement le coin inférieur droit du téléphone mais c'est à peine perceptible.

Ca peut en intéresser certains : sur les tranches de la coque apparaissent discrètement les mentions :
- "spigen" (côté droit)
- "Designed In Irvine California Made In Korea" (côté gauche)

Good protection, Discolours over time

The case itself is very good, not adding any bulk to the phone really. It has a raised rim around the camera (also raised on the S6) to afford greater protection and avoid scratching the camera when placed screen-up on a surface.

My only bugbear is that after a couple of months the clear case begins to discolour, very slight at first, but very noticeably over time. I have had my S6 for 14 months and have just purchased my third case. Testament to how much I like the case, but also giving a timescale for discolouration. It goes yellowy-pinky colour, lending the silver trim of the phone a rose-gold look. Some people might like that, I suppose, but I don't.

Either way, I would recommend the case, it's hardly breaking the bank to replace after 5 or 6 months.
