It's been over 6 months since I bought this case for my then-new Galaxy S22+, and it has kept the phone looking new since day 1. Despite more than a few falls and drops onto hard surfaces, my phone doesn't have a scratch or nick to be found. The kickstand has turned out to be a great feature as well.

What prompted me to write this review after so many months is this: last night, after returning from a trip, I temporarily placed the phone on top of my vehicle while opening the hatchback. Despite the tacky surface, the phone somehow slid into the space where the hatchback and the top of the vehicle meet, and the door was slammed shut on it!

I'd thought for sure that the hatchback door would be deformed, the phone would be cracked, or both -- but NEITHER was the case! Upon opening the hatchback, the metal popped and it snapped back its original position. The phone operated normally, and when I removed it from the case for a closer look -- I found it had no cracks, scuffs, nor any marks whatsoever! The S22+ still looks new and operates the same way.

Fantastic protection for an inexpensive cover. Buy it!

The kickstand is magnetic, and does not go past a certain angle. It is fairly obvious when the kickstand is fully extended, and the magnetic closure is strong, keeping the kickstand shut and in place. It's perplexing to see other reviews stating the kickstand broke within days of use; the only legitimate reason for this damage would be heavy-handedness i.e. forcefully extending the kickstand past its breaking point.

I've purchased all of my phone cases from Spigen as their products are durable and affordable. I've dropped my S22+ about 15 times with this on (including pavement!) and the phone is still spotless. The case covers the phone perfectly, and the camera/LED cutouts are precise.

If you have more than two braincells, this case is for you. Great protection with the added convenience of a metal kickstand with a magnetic closure to keep it in place. I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase.

This is basically the same thing as the Spigen ultra hybrid, but it has an industrial strength kickstand hinge glued in place.

So the fit is great, they are quite protective, and they last a long time.

They will yellow with age. Hence 4 stars for durability, but whatever.

This hinge is too heavy for me though, so this is backup case for the ultra hybrid, for the times I want to have a kickstand.

After couple months of usage - a very nice case, survived a few falls already. Still pretty much clear and transparent.
A small downside is that dust seems to be getting in pretty easily... Need to clean the case often.
The stand up clip is one of the best features, very handy.
