The Spirit That Conquers is a treatise which focuses on the often forgotten and overlooked power of the conquering spirit of Jesus Christ that lives inside every believer. Using the Bible, and poetically worded exhortations and encouragement, Chukwu explains how the Holy Spirit began with mankind, left mankind, then entered mankind again through faith in Jesus Christ. The majority of the treatise then focuses on the believer’s life with the spirit of Christ living inside. Specifically, Chukwu gives attention to the characteristics of Christ’s spirit, internal and external obstacles that believers must overcome by the spirit of Christ, examples of believers in the Bible who conquered, and lastly, three keys, or codes, that believers use in order to nurture the spirit of Christ living within themselves.
I have personally been encouraged by Chukwu’s words with his emphasis on God’s desire to restore, through Christ’s spirit, all aspects of a believer’s life including soul, body, ministry, mission, marriage, family, etc.
