I cling to a naïve belief that not only does the truth set you free, when recognised it is seen as deceptively simple and graceful in its beauty. Philosophers and theologians mine for the truth, enquire, probe, question; they claim to find it, however, for us lesser mortals it is often an opaque, puzzling truth.
I recommend this book for it stimulates internal debate and maybe that is the whole point of it, to shake up the reader’s stale beliefs and give their synapses some exercise.
