since there appears to be no other instructional aide online specifically for this speaker.
I have had this for months now and absolutely love it.
However people make quick assumptions and rate this speaker poorly because they claim
there was no way to turn the speaker off. When really they simply have not figured out how to turn the device off.
Granted the instructions are limited and there was NO guide on how to turn the device off,
it is actually very simple and this is how you do it.
Step 1- When you are finished using the speaker leave it on, do not push pause.
Go to the device that is transmitting the audio and stop the audio from playing.
Step 2- When the music has stopped playing, go into your transmitting devices blue tooth settings
disconnect the device from blue tooth and turn blue tooth off.
Step 3- Once you have disconnected the device from blue tooth and turned off blue tooth,
you will notice if you look carefully, there is a blue light blinking on the speaker. This indicates the device is
searching for a transmitting blue tooth accessible device. Push and hold the power button on the speaker.
You will hear a sound, like its powering up. This is actually the sound of the speaker trying to pair to another device.
If you press AND HOLD the power button for approximately 6 seconds it will make a powering down sound
and also you will notice it will flash red for a second, then no light will blink.
Step 4-Go to the fridge grab yourself a refreshing beverage and celebrate the fact
that you just mastered the machine in your bathroom.
I hope this is easy enough to follow and for the people that already own the speaker hopefully these instructions
will turn your shower time into a pretty sweet experience.
This is great, so I went on a quest to find a new Bluetooth 4.0 shower speaker that would support this feature.
After purchasing 3 different models on Amazon I realized that just because they claim to be Bluetooth 4.0 compliant - that doesn't make it true. Thanks to Amazon for making returns so easy!
We were about to give up when I came across this speaker and decided to give it a try (although I have to admit my hopes weren't high).
Fortunately, this speaker works great - and actually is a Bluetooth 4 speaker!
Not only does it work perfectly with media volume sync, but it sounds better than the previous shower speakers we were using as well.
The only downside is that the manual specifically says not to use a charger > 1A when charging or it could cause damage to the speaker. Thinking that was odd, I plugged it into my standard high-amp charger anyway and shortly started seeing a blinking red error light. I had to dig to find an older 1A charger to use with this speaker...
Overall, if you're looking for a suction cup shower speaker that supports USB Media Volume Sync - skip the rest and jump directly to this model.
[*** Update 12/22/2017 ***]
A couple of months ago, I realized I've never seen what this shower speaker does when the battery dies - because it never has.
I recharge it about once a month to be safe; but, it's never died on its own.
At that point, it's gone a full 60 days without a charge. That's with me using it 7 days a week for 15-20 minutes (when I'm showering and getting ready for the day).
I just wanted to post about the excellent battery life and will come back to post again when the battery finally has to be charged. I'll be truly surprised if that doesn't happen in the next few days - but I thought that a month ago...
[*** Update 2/16/2018 ***]
Well, this battery experiment went quite a bit longer than I was expecting.
Yesterday the red light started blinking red while it was playing - but I continued to see what would happen when it actually dies. This morning, the light was still blinking red right up to the point where it played a single long beep and turned off.
Personally, I think that's a pretty good battery warning system. Far better than the ones that talk every 60 seconds when they're getting close to dying.
In addition the battery life is amazingly good! I do wish I had recorded the exact start date of the experiment, but it's easily 3-4 months of consistent use.
This speaker has gorgeous sound, with fairly sharp highs and deep, clear lows (for a single all-in-one speaker). Even better, the separate volume and track control buttons (which I couldn't find on ANY other shower speaker) work as they're supposed to. I would definitely buy this brand again!

2. since fall last night the bloody thing hasn't stopped beeping and as such is now far away in another room under a pile of the winter duvets to muffle the beeping noise which beeps every second.
3 won't connect to my devices any more
Worse still there's no option to add a pin to blue tooth so anyone in its decent range could just link to it and use it, also there is no volume control on it which is annoying.
