You may get bored with Blue's over analysis, but just think of how amazing it is a feat to write such a stern character that keeps with the original personality (you'll understand when you read this awesome book)
Take a chance,
I recommend that sic-fi fans pick up the series yesterday.
Splintered Energy, the first book in her trilogy, takes energy to a whole different level. In this unique twist of the Law of Conservation of Energy, that states energy can neither be created or destroyed, only changed from one form to another, Ms. Webb does indeed bend convert into something you wouldn't expect.
When light fractures, sentient energy becomes trapped in human bodies, replacing the lives that were once there. Life as these beings understood, has changed and a physical form for some is almost unbearable. Desperate to reunite and find balance, the newly born beings of light, begin a track across the country, searching for others of their kind. Red is anger--power. Green, shy and healing. Blue is an introvert and compulsive genius, set on reuniting the energy and returning home. Orange--a flirtatious beauty. Yellow is a narcissist, set on destroying everything in her path.
If you want something a little different, this book is for you. Also be aware that this is a three book series and they don't really stand alone. You will need to commit to the series to get the entire picture. Noting the size of the story, I believe it was written as one and broken down into individual chunks to make it more manageable.
