UPDATE: It had to have been my sons dvd player.
I have a dvd player in my own bedroom and the dvd worked perfectly fine. My sons dvd player works so i have to assume its because his is an older dvd player. That being said i do indeed recommend this dvd!
Ive never Had any Problems with any Other dvds but I have bought 2 spongebob dvds both defective within the past month. I bought this one on amazon because I had bought a previous one at walmart and it was broken. Theres a weird patch or ring within the dvd which I assume is why it doesnt work. Luckily this was cheap or id be more upset.
