Die hard SpongeBob fans rejoice! When you can't be in front of the TV watching SpongeBob, you can now listen to the songs from the shows! If you are like me and have watched each episode at least a dozen times, once the song plays, clips from the episode from which they are from, will reel through you mind's eye. If, however, you are not hooked on the little yellow sponge, such as myself and my family are, you will still have tons of fun with this vast collection of songs ranging from pop tunes such as "The Best Day Ever" to a "Wipe Out" inspired "Doing the Sponge" and heartfelt tearjerkers like "Gary's Song".

Just to touch upon our family's delight with this set of songs, when the first recording, "SpongeBob SquarePants Theme Song" came over the speakers, my three year old son clapped, raced over to me and pulled me up to dance with him. Keep in mind that as a baby and young toddler, TV was never something he was interested in, however, as soon as the theme song of SpongeBob played, he dropped everything and ran to the TV, staring just long enough until the song was over (complete with playing his nose like a flute), then would turn and go about his business.

Also included in the CD insert are fun bits of trivia and information on each song contained, as well as pencil sketches of the cartoon itself. This is a collection ten years in the making and well worth the wait, as it is sure to bring tons of smiles, dancing and laughter.

If that isn't enough excitement or incentive to pick up this eye catching and absorbing collection of music, there is a couple little bonuses in store for listeners! On tracks 15 ("SpongeBob SquarePants Theme Song") and 16 ("We`ve Got Scurvy"), guest vocals make an appearance by Cee-Lo Green and Pink, respectively.

I have two boys who are huge SpongeBob fans and I have to admit that I also like the little yellow square dude.

SpongeBob's Greatest Hits is a fun album chock full of all the Spongebob faves and some new songs, too. I personally like PINK's "We've Got Scurvy" and I enjoyed Cee-Lo Green's rendition of the "SpongeBob SquarePants Theme Song."

Great album for long car trips, listening to in the morning when the kids are getting ready for school, or for keeping them entertained at night. I've even used it as a sort of "bribe" to get them to clean up thier room- ie: I'll put the SpongeBob CD on while you clean... worked like a charm.

This was a great CD for my little bro, since he loves SpongeBob, he loves and recognizes the songs that are listed on this album. This is a great gift for anyone who knows someone young that likes the SpongeBob songs played throughout the series.

Some good songs but what about Sandy's Texas song? If they really want to make a ton of money, they should come out with a DVD the top 20 songs along with the actual video from the show! This would be a great DVD for all Sponge Bob fans.

I bought this for our boys who are 6 and 3. They LOVE it. They already knew the words to most of the songs just from watching the TV show over and over. Ripped Pants and the Christmas song are two of their favorites!

Kiwi Magazine Review:
I jumped on to the squishy, squashy SpongeBob Squarepants fan bus after seeing "Don't be a jerk, it's Christmas" performed live with Tom Kenney and his background singers and dancers. I would have to say that this CD is a must-have for all die-hard SpongeBob fans, as well as new Bikini Bottom wanna bes. There are a few standouts on the CD but my favorite is Pink's cover of "We've Got Scurvy" which is entertaining and informative (well, now every kid will know that scurvy can be prevented by eating citrus!). So, make sure you have 10 items or fewer in your cart in the express lane, but make sure that SpongeBob's Greatest Hits CD is in there!
