Loved it then, loved it now. I remember owning the yellow movie soundtrack CD and playing it on REPEAT much to my parents’ dismay. (Except for the Shins’ hit, who doesn’t love the Shins?) well, what goes around comes around, because my own kids now demand the Alexa to play the Goofy Goober Rock on full volume, all the d*mn time.
Great movie only problem is if you are buying this movie on prime video to watch off your phone for something like a flight just beware there is no way to turn the Audio Descriptions from the movie off on your phone so you will have someone narrating to you the whole time. This can be turned off on non phone versions of the movie however
War damals 2 mal im Kino (2005 war ich 19 Jahre alt)! Und auch heute sehe ich ihn mir immer wieder mal gerne an! Eigentlich haben Spongebob und Patrick eine erstrebenswerte Ansicht zum Leben! Zumindest der Teil in dem sie alles locker nehmen! Klar muss man sich hüten vor den bösen Menschen dieser Welt. Aber ich denke etwas Kind zu sein schadet keinem, egal wie alt er ist! :-) Ich werde mir mein inneres Kind behalten!
Viele meiner Freunde können mit "Spongebob" nur wenig anfangen, schauen mich dann völlig verständnislos an oder schütteln nur den Kopf. Ich selbst liebe die Serie und die skurile Art des Humors. Wer die Serie kennt und Sie liebt sollte sich den Film unbedingt zueigen machen. Die Story ist sehr gelungen und sehr unterhaltsam. Ich habe den Film inzwischen fünfmal gesehen und entdecke immer neue lustige Details. Vor allem der Auftritt von David Hasselhoff ist ein Highlight. Selten gelingt die Verknüpfung von realer und fiktionaler Welt so gut wie hier. Die deutsche Übersetzung aus dem Englischen ist ebenfalls sehr gut, stellenweise sogar lustiger als das Original. Für "Spongebob- Fans gibt es nur eines: KAUFEN. Für all jene, die das Wort "Spongebob" zum erstenmal hören: Auf Super RTL die Serie probesehen.
