This video memoir of CIA contract agent and underworld figure Chauncey Marvin Holt chronicles his career in the twilight world of bootlegging, bookmaking, gunrunning, money laundering, espionage, and assassinations. Made one week prior to Holt's death, this recording provides his account of the evidence of a renegade covert network that has exerted an untold influence over U.S. policy, including the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy. He details the preparations for a coup d'état on November 22, 1963, reveals why Holt and a team of CIA operatives were in Dealey Plaza that day, and explains the presence of the mysterious "three tramps" picked up behind the grassy knoll after JFK's assassination.

Chauncey Holt, one of the famous "three tramps," played a small part in the plot, but the information he has is entirely believable and incredibly enlightening. He doesn't offer much that has not heretofore shown up in speculation, but hearing the story directly from him is amazing. His role consisted of supplying about a dozen counterfeit Secret Service badges and two weapons to people in Dealey Plaza. He did not witness the attack itself, but he did stroll through Dealey Plaza for a while and reels off the names of about five men who were known to him as world class assassins, as well as many others he knew to be involved in clandestine work for the CIA. He says that Dealey Plaza appeared to be a Soldiers of Fortune convention. I think he says there were MORE of those types than you would find at such a convention.
Listening to an 80-year-old man talk for two hours is not always easy to take. I found myself riveted.
