But then his scraggly tail began to sprout character; it grew and grew until it turned into a horrendous mask...However, all's well that ends well' and Prewitt's 'tail' is a happy one.
Top customer reviews
Prewitt Peacock's story is no exception. It's a tale of a... well... a tail. Prewitt's tail is different from the other peacocks' tails, and he's subsequently an outcast. His tail isn't quite what it seems, however, and what was once his weakness becomes his greatest strength. Without being melodramatic, Bill Peet's story can teach a child that it's OK to be different - what sets you apart can make you special, too!
This book comes highly recommended for all kids (and their parents)!
Child is now almost 8 and still loves this book and the illustrations. Highly recommended!
