I gave this to my 4-year-old grandson in June. Then his 6-year-old sister wanted one, so I bought one for her and one for the 1.5 year old granddaughter. They all love these and play with them in imaginative ways. My daughter is happy, because it only has ONE part, they stack together, and they can all do the same thing at the same time. No fighting! My daughter uses one to "strengthen her core." Don't ask me how. I read the reviews that said kids like these, and they were right. Thank You to Reviewers!

Spooner freestyle a little smaller than spooner pro but just as sturdy

The freestyle is shaped a little more like an actual spoon as compared to the pro which is a little longer. The freestyle feels really sturdy, maybe even with less give than the pro, but as an adult I like twisting around more on the pro. I’m glad we got the freestyle for our littlest kid(2 years), and pros for the older kids (9 and 11). I was excited that our green freestyle came with custom grips instead of the plain black ones pictured. Ours shows a wave with a turtle swimming under it. These are a big hit with our kids and all kids that come over(adults too!) like to play with it. Glad we got them.

I got this for my three year old last Christmas and he is still playing with it almost a year later. Right now he loves to spin, but it's a nice toy that once he keeps practicing and getting the hang of it he can do more advanced tricks as he gets older. It has lots of fun uses, inside and out. Spooner has great promo videos showcasing the types of tricks it can do so. I didn't show my 3 year old the videos last year and not even know but I can introduce the more age appropriate ideas as he gets bigger.

Purchased for our two-and-a-quarter year-old and he immediately took to it. The material is REALLY strong (fun for parents to play on, too!) but doesn't scratch our hardwood floors. We plan to bring it to the snow next time we go, for sure. It seems like it will be a great indoor play item during the winter and also provide some great balance training and core strengthening for the little guy. Also a bonus-he loves to flip it over and drive his trucks "over the bridge."
