My software came very quick,and I got it the day before expected. You have to have the "Spore" game already loaded in your computer in order to load and use this software. This is the ultimate extension of the Space part of the "Spore" game. You can play other people's adventures that they have created or you can create your own from scratch. You can also re-create or edit other people's adventures into what you want for your own. Even though the software is loaded,in order to do the "Galactic Adventures" each time,you have to put the cd rom into the computer. I'm having some issues with the game or software,which is a loading from the internet of others adventures if I wish to play them. I hope to get those issues resolved soon,which I need to contact EA or Maxis about. I could go on and on what else can be done with this game,but it never will get monotonous or boring,cause of so much you can do if you use your imagination. You can terreform new planets,use any number of buildings,characters etc. what you have created in the "Spore" game or use what others have created. Lots of possibilities. Hopefully in the near future they will have patches for editing or creating new plants,and for sound effects and music in the game. Who says you can't have fun,especially playing this game. And at my age,where I'm in early 50's and a "recycled teenager" :)

One of the great things about Spore is that you can play it literally forever if you like. Once you hit the space stage, you have the whole galaxy to play with, but the problem with the original is that there is only so much to do. Galactic adventures provides the Space stage with a HUGE amount of new content and types of adventures. You can not only expand your empire and upgrade your ship, you can now upgrade your ship commander and do missions on the planets (more like Creature Stage.. arguably the most fun part of Spore). If you enjoy Spore as much as my kids and I do, this is a must-have.

While searching for Spore, Since the stores no longer carry it and i needed to replace my daughter's missing game, i came across the expansion pack. My daughter who loses interest in things quickly still loves this game after a few years of having it so while i was replacing her game i picked up the expansion pack as well. I love this game! Admittedly having trouble getting some of the adventures to come up, but more than anything I love the ability to make adventures yourself, and it isn't all that complicated, either. Be sure when you first load an adventure you got online that you are online. The user-created resources do not automatically come with the user-created adventure, and you have to be online for the game to automatically download them, which can take practically forever if the user has made all their own resources. That, and the game's annoying habit of downloading random stuff are the only two downsides. Still five stars.

I bought this for my 11 year old for Christmas. He has the original and really wanted this to add since all of his worlds hit the Tribal level on the original one. He loves it! The ability to create cities and explore space adds another layer to the game. Also, you have the option of sticking to the original game levels or moving to this one, so my daughter can play the easier, original levels and my so can play these. It is a lot more complicated playing this one because of the added task of creating a complicated civilization, so younger kids will need a little help in the beginning in terms of object placement, leadership, etc.

Das Spiel ist super. Es macht spaß und ist einfach zu verstehen und bedienen....wäre da nicht die tatsache,dass die gewinnung von Erfahrung (also Exp im Spiel) sehr lange dauert. Es vermindert den Spielspaß schon etwas. Aber die Exp benötigt man erst sehr spät im Spiel und ist auch kein Faktor der einem hindert weiter zu kommen. Alles in allem einfach nur klasse und empfehlenswert!
