WHAT I LIKE:
[+] It's light and thin when packed, making it extremely portable
[+] It can be clamped and mounted on almost anything
[+] It was 3 areas of configuring the angle, which enables the pivoting the shade in infinite ways
[+] UPF 50+ for maximum sun and UV protection!
[+] love the shape of the umbrella where one side is longer than the other
[+] It has plastic cover on each end of umbrella shade so it won't hurt even if you get poked by accident
WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
[-] It's pretty long when packed. Maybe there can be a way to fold in half but that might affect the strength and quality of the umbrella shade so this is not a deal breaker
[-] I noticed that the pole still wiggles even on a locked position... this does concern me a little since it may not stay in position if it gets loosen over time.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
Solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. I'm removing a half star because pole wiggles a little on a lock position. I'm not sure if this will stand the test of time or maybe I got one with a defect but we will have to see.
But still, I highly recommend this umbrella for all the things that I have mentioned above. This is a must-have for anyone who needs to get away from sun in a open area where only chair is available.

We love to travel & be on the go with our kids. We go to Disney World once or twice a year as well as numerous day trips to the zoo & other fun places. I hate trying to try to shade the baby when he's sleeping in the stroller at Disney, or anywhere else (we don't go back to the rooms for naps because there's too much time wasted in traveling back & forth & then the kiddos will probably fall asleep on the bus ride & then be wide awake from their power nap when you get to the resort, so we invested in a big comfy stroller years ago, mainly just for Disney, lol) I usually clip thin blankets all around & unzip the fabric behind their head for airflow, but it's still bright & there's inevitably still sun shining on feet & legs & I also hate the direct sunlight on the baby/toddlers legs while we're strolling around & they're awake (I'm third generation skin cancer, & I have fair skinned kiddos). I've tried normal stroller umbrellas, but they don't offer much coverage unless I put two on, & they're domed so they don't lay well & that's a pain...BUT I finally found this cool umbrella. It's odd shaped & flatter so it fits great, & it pivots in 4 places to get the coverage you need! This one isn't in the way of anything (I can still get to the kids, the basket, the cupholders, etc.), I can still clip a stroller fan on the inside for when they're sleeping, and now I only need to use one of the thin muslin swaddle blankets clothes pinned with 1-2 clothes pins on one side to keep the sunlight out and off of the sleeping kiddo 💗 The only drawback I have with it is it makes my double stroller a little bit wider but I can easily reach underneath of it and and pop the top down to make it laydown flatter to get through doorways.
I hooked it on the bar down by the basket of our stroller so that it laid flat on top of the canopies, but I can also attach it higher to shade the adults if I wanted to.

As for the umbrella as an umbrella, it has made the beach much more bearable. I originally got it because I'm pregnant and right now my skin is too sensitive to handle the sun exposure I would normally be fine with. I've taken this umbrella to the beach multiple times, and it's great. It clamps right to the back of my chair and is easily adjustable as the sun moves, or if you move your chair. I also clamped it to my deck railing to create some shade while my husband was grilling this summer, and that worked pretty well. It doesn't cover a huge area, but if you're in one spot, it'll do.
Mild winds don't faze the umbrella. In moderate winds or with gusts, you need to be aware of wind direction so you don't accidentally create a sail out of your umbrella. As with any umbrella, it will catch in a stiff breeze. The Sport-Brella never threatened to break or invert, but the strongest beach winds did cause it to shift/slide from its clamped position. Basically, this thing isn't wind-proof, so don't expect it to be.
I imagine that I will continue to use this at the beach in the future, since it does wonders for not getting too hot (or getting burnt after forgetting to reapply sunscreen, which I've done several times). I also like that the clamp is so versatile, since it can attach to other chairs, a stroller, or a deck railing. I can only imagine how useful it will be if I'm taking my impending kid somewhere in a stroller and there's strong sun or some rain. Being able to protect yourself without taking up your hands is clutch. Definitely glad I made this purchase.

After some research and discarding some options that looked good in theory, but that reviews said in practice weren’t so good, I purchased this item. Time will tell, but so far I am delighted with it.
It clamps onto a flat surface easily – which is perfect for a garden table. It appears to be very easy to orientate it to block the Sun on my screen throughout the day. It also seems reasonably robust and unlikely to break. I was a bit confused about the shape of the umbrella, but having used it, it seems to be perfect for the job. Roll on summer :-)

I'm using it on my mobility scooter.
Very well made, doesn't come loose on my scooter, doesn't turn inside out in high winds.
Great in sun or rain.
Super fast delivery, would buy again.
