There is recent research that seems to indicate that krill oil has compounds that can slow aging and counter the processes that cause Parkinson's (we have a family history of Parkinson's). Having taken it for almost two months now, we can say that it definitely has had an impact on our mood and energy: situations that would in the past cause anxiety or be fatiguing no longer have that effect and on a daily basis there is a brightening of our mood and an increase in energy. As an added bonus, we'll also be looking to see further improvements in our triglycerides and cholesterol levels. We recommend highly.

I must add a review to the previous I have seen because health matters! My 35 yr old husband has hereditary high cholesterol. He is in total shape physically and active and eats well, even lots of fish as we are fishers. His bad cholesterol has always been high and his good has always been too low along with high triglycerides, etc. It felt hopeless these past around 10 years everytime we saw his blood work. Scary even to know it was in his genes. I think his last total was 249 before krill. I was desperate and finally thought we had to try this after research. So many people try basic fish oils and it doesn't help their numbers. I am beginning to believe that krill may be the ticket for peoples' cholesterol. SO... my husband had his physical in Feb this year and our also younger doctor told us how he takes statons himself for hereditary high cholesterol and we finally figured we would give in if his blood work came back bad once again (we kind of expected it to, but we prayed and hoped for the opposite). Our doctor (we like) told us, "Look, it's hereditary and you are gonna have to take the pills". Well, what do you know, he calls us back after the weekend to say he was wrong and it came down drastically and to keep doing what we're doing which is the krill. We were so overjoyed. I cried tears of joy as I raised my praise to God. Wow, the things that bless your heart in your thirties! So, I have multiple people I just gave bottles of this to. I pray it blesses their health and homes the way it is blessing ours. I keep meaning to get the copy of my husband's bloodwork to see exactly how low it came down to. I will in the next month as he has hernia surgery coming soon, and I will update this review with his new cholesterol number! Health is worth every penny. ❤️

Too many issues; not convinced of quality

Honestly I have no idea about the efficacy of this supplement. I haven't suffered any I'll effect from taking them, but I guess you just have to trust they are working unless you have access to verification tests.

The product information claims "no fishy taste" however I absolutely got fishy burps almost every time I took them. While I personally dont really care much about that, it does concern me that they might be stored in some warehouse long enough to go rancid. Whether this is true or not I also cannot say.

Additionally, I will usually bring my cocktail of vitamins and mineral supplements in a small jar to have with my dinner at work. I noticed an orange oil/liquid was staining the other capsuls and tablets when these were included. While there was no leakage in the bottle of krill oil capsules, it is worth mentioning that if you're transporting a few in another jar, the risk of the oil leaking is definitely there, which means you're gonna get the fishy taste... and if the liquid can leave the capsules, I wonder if oxygen is getting through the gel outside...

Upon inspection, I noticed what seems to be small air bubbles in almost every capsule I checked.

I could be wrong about all this stuff, but personally I'm very uncomfortable taking these as I have too many doubts about the manufacturing quality and thus the product quality. I will not be buying them again unless these issues are addressed.

Would not recommend at this time.
