The product appears to be of high quality but nowhere in the product description on Amazon or on the manufacturers' website are you made aware that you need a special adapter to inflate. I noticed this in reviews so I purchased the only adapter on the manufacturers' website but it turns out that this is not what you need. It's not until you read the enclosed instructions that you learn that you need an "H valve adapter," actually a Halkey-Roberts valve adapter. You can get an adapter by purchasing one of Sportsstuff's air pumps for $58 to $80 (comparable pumps are $19) but I managed to find an adapter for $9 on Amazon.

Lots of fun - IT NEEDS A SPECIAL VALVE FOR INFLATING!!!!

This is super sturdy! Please be aware: IT REQUIRES A SPECIAL VALVE FOR INFLATING!! It requires a high pressure valve that is NOT standard on air pumps for regular inflatables. We took this out the first time and were a bit bummed when we couldn't inflate it. We were taking our new pontoon out for a test run in cold water, so it wasn't a huge loss. We discovered we had a high pressure pump included in another watercraft we had purchased, so we used it the following day. The water was cold, so the granddaughters didn't play on it too much, but it was evident that they will get lots and lots of use out of it this summer! Again, the construction is really impressive. The straps are designed to fit an open rail pontoon design, and our pontoon is closed rail....the logs are even closed. So, we put the slide off the front and tied down the bottom straps to the actual pontoon logs. We plan to add some sturdy eye bolts to the rail on which to attach the top straps. The two bottom straps were all we needed for the two granddaughters ages 4 and 7 on this run. I liked putting it off the front because it gave us more room between the lounging couches. Even though it is recommended to go over an unobstructed rail, it fit over the couches just fine. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase....unless it actually CAME with the necessary pump/valve. I am still giving it 5 stars.....the price was right and we will have loads of fun on it this summer!

Great purchase. Steep price, but well worth it. I think it will last quite a while. Fits perfectly on the pontoon boat. The kids absolutely love it. They spend hours on it every time we go out. Had one of the grow-ups (180lbs) go on it, with no problem. Just make sure you attach all the tie downs, even for the kids. With that done, it is rock solid.

Good, but the H clip separately

As others have said, insane they do not provide the H clip for inflation. Must buy separately. But all other aspects of the slide VERY good for 9 g-kids. Bought the H clip and airhead pump at Scheels about $25 for the pump. Good choice

Slide works great on my Yamaha 242. The kids love this slide. We have used this slide numerous times over the summer and it has performed flawlessly every time.

My only complaint is that the slide did not come with the needed special valve attachment for inflation/deflation. The valve attachment is hard to find in local stores.
