Tessa hasn't been able to find her happily ever after.. Trevor had his heart ripped out of him by his ex. The wall around his heart is so high no one can scale it until Tessa. She's been appointed by her mom to show Trevor around scouting for locations for an up coming movie. Tessa finally agrees to a week of no ties sex. What was so much more than both of them would admit to Trevor left, quite hastily, at the end of the week. While Tessa suffers quietly with a broken heart, things happen. I love the whole series from beginning with Mistletoe Mischief. I love Stacy's writing and look forward to Book 8. All her books are awesome and totally worth a read. Even the paranormal ones. While I don't like PN I enjoyed hers.
Another great story to the series, I was really glad to see Trevor finally tell Tessa why he was totally against commitments, marriage and kids. I thought he was a total jerk the way he acted when he realized she wasn't still on birth control but didn't tell her about the condom breaking and then acting like an even bigger jerk when she goes to tell him about the baby. I'm glad Trent was able to convince him to go make things right. I can't wait for the next book coming out next year.
Spring Fling was the first book of Stacey Jo Netzel's that I've read and I loved it. I was immediately drawn into the hot chemistry between Tessa and Trevor. What I liked best was that even though they were incredibly attracted to each other, they took the time to get to know one another (shocking, I know). The progression of their physical relationship was sensitive and thoughtful. Trevor is in town scouting for a movie location. Tessa is a local, tasked with showing him around town. Neither are looking for love. And of course, that's exactly what they find.
I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to the next book in the series and I hope it comes out soon. I bought the Welcome to Redemption books and plan to start this series this evening. Great author. I will be reading all of her books, except the paranormal, I really dislike paranormal, science fiction, vampires, etc. But, if you are a fan of those books, I am certain you will like the Netzel books in that genre. Buy her books and enjoy.
I love all books written by this author. She does such a good job bringing the characters to life, you feel like you actually lived through life with them! This is a real page turner! You find that once you start one of her books, you cannot put it down to do the things you must do.
I love the town and the people. Would be a great place to live. Romances that aren't that easy where people overcome problems and grow in character are what I really enjoy reading. Mostly romantic suspense so I never remember whether specific books are romantic suspense or just pure romance so I take the middle ground just in case. Forgive me if I err.
I really am enjoying this series and everyone in Pulaski. This was a good story about Tessa and Trevor. These two seemed great together, but Trevor kept holding back. Tessa put herself out there to Trevor and he had some decisions to make. Trevor's friends finally got him to see things differently.
