Best ghee I've tried. Website shows exactly how made and jarred in the U.S. by family small operation. Glass mason-type quart jar was very well padded (purchased in own order to avoid other products) and was stored in refrigerator for a month until needed. Other commercial ghees are VERY hard cold, but this, while solid, I was able to get out of the jar easily. I know it doesn't need refrigeration, but I prefer to store it there. This is my new brand! Responsibly sourced, U.S. cows, produced in the U.S., glass jar, tastes delicious, easy to use: what's not to love! Buy it! Support non-commercial products! You'll be glad you did!

Edit: We enjoy the taste of this ghee, but everyone in our household has complained about how challenging opening the jar is with many giving up and using something else. I hope the company finds a better solution. This week, I had to change my recipes twice by using another oil simply because I could not open the jar and no one was home that could. I have never had this kind of trouble with any jar. I think it is the large size of the lid that make it challenging to open.

We are very happy with the quality of this ghee. Absolutely delicious and very creamy.

I switched to using Ghee five years ago instead of regular butter. I knew that Ghee was essentially “clarified butter” and knew it was better to cook with. So I was happy to find this. Ive tried many different brands in Amazon and I always choose a brand that is from grass fed cows. This has the same yummy flavor as more expensive brands I have tried. So now it is the one we buy every month for our general Ghee usage.

I love its light, warm flavor and especially the subtle smell. I use ghee on my skin and in herbal medicinal infusions, so it’s more convenient not to smell strongly of butter. i don’t have to salt my toast like I need to with other more strongly flavored brands. It stands alone, like olive or coconut oil. It also blends nicely in coffee, as opposed to having a mouthful of hot butter, lol. It’s a great product, thank you.

If it werent for this company I wouldn't consume ghee. My number one priority when buying this and eggs is that the animals are treated well and get to live to a natural old age. And are true pasture raised/fed. Other than that and local honey I don't consume meat or other dairy. The dairy/meat/egg industry has become a cruel and inhumane sector that i navigate very carefully to avoid factory farms and the harming of animals at all costs. This farm also lets the calves remain with their mothers instead of being torn away. The company is also based upon the ayurvedic tradition of Indian culture. Which im I love and appreciate so this company has my heart ❤ The product is fantastic too and extremely well priced. Ghee is much better for your health than butter give it a try!

Though the cost of this ghee was a bit lower than others, it just didn't suit my palate. The flavor is bit too subtle for me. It's a little on the greasy side, as well, and it doesn't stay blended as the drink cools. Though I can't say it's bad ghee, I just can't say it's good either. It did have good reviews from others, so it may just be a preference sort of thing.
