I listened to Katherine Albrecht for many years. When her and McIntire wrote the book, they thought this is all 10 years from now. They could not have been more wrong. Not only that but what is secretly and not so secretly done under our noses will result in „No Place To Hide.“ For privacy concerned people it is a nightmare from Hell. Humanity ruled by a technocrat, corporate elite. For astute Christians, we know the prophecies and the pieces keep on falling in place at an accelerated rate.

Been seeing these chips on many products. Now I know what is behind their use. SCARRRRYY! This helps to form a game plan against such technology. Well worth the read, imho. The population should be brought up to speed as to what is going on with merchants. If enough of an outcry was heard, am sure there are a number of industrious sources who are tech savvy and of the entrepreneurial bent, to find counter technology and become wealthy as a result. Please, someone "go for it"! I'd be on your side.

I expected this book to be a shrill, conspiracy obsessed bag of mixed messages. I was pleasantly surprised, as it is well written, as easy to read as a novel, very well documented, and reasoned in the warnings about privacy and technology.

Being in the tech industry, I know a little about RFID chips. But what I never thought about was how they can be - and are being - used to track far more than simply shop or store inventory. The patents and tests pointed out in the book reveal a far wider scope that does include post-sales tracking of goods, for myriad purposes. I was reminded of the movie "Minority Report" even before it was mentioned in the book.

As with all information and credible warnings, the question is - "What will I do with it?" This book - and the authors' web sites - help the reader understand some of the simple steps we can take to reduce Big Brother's intrusions; but they also recognize that some of this high-tech nanny-state stuff will be very difficult to identify and to resist.

Do you go easily and ignorantly into the future, where government and business can track most everything you buy and where you go? Or will you minimize your exposure and walk in wisdom as you face what comes? Of course, you may very well have a Polly Anna view and think this entire subject is rubbish. That is exactly what the overseers want.

However, it is a good tool to open peoples eyes toward how quickly and easily our personal liberties, to include privacy, can be eroded. The authors are courageous women, who are challenging big, big money and secret government interests. Their book is a wonderful overview of the commercial uses of the chips. The authors give a glimpse of the sinister, military, aspects by pointing out that in history, it has been governments, not foreign enemies, who have killed millions of their own citizens.

The authors think that these chips can only be read a few meters away. Not so.
The military/defense institutions are in the process of testing these chips in unwilling populations (such as "persons of interest"). Bush's so-called Patriot Act allowed the government to do this, because the Act suspends every citizen's right to "freedom from unlawful search and seizure." (Nowadays the lawmakers don't violate laws, they just re-write them to enable the crime.)

The "defense" folks take advantage of the public's trust in them to convince doctors, dentists, and hospitals into letting them substitute their agents, who will insert the chips. The "defense" folks train military personnel to use computers to track their victims via the chips' GPS emissions. Presently they must be in range of the individual to track them on computer -- but they're working to make them trackable by helicopter.

The only way to combat this gross invasion of human rights by Big Brother (in the name of security) is to educate the public on how to disable these chips. As you said, first Big Brother put the chips in "terrorists"; then, Big Brother put them in John Q. Public. End of game. End of democracy. This amazing technology, placed in the hands of the usual culprits, that is, short-sighted military morons, have put us on the edge of being controlled by a burgeoning Fascist tyranny of total corporate/Big Gov control.

I believe that all Citizens of the United States ought to read this book and other information like to understand how intrucive and destructive Governments can and will be given the opportunity. There are far fewer risks to our survival as a Free People by putting major emphasis on the Individual and not the Government, in any form, but particularly the larger more anonymous forms, over the risks encountered with people doing what people do in their own communities. God Save the Constitution of the United States! (Or whom ever or what ever you put your faith in).

I didn't get on that well with this book. It's an interesting subject and one of major concern and Katherine Albrecht is a leading expert on this although it does seem the Scientific Dictatorship have rolled not this out as quickly as anyone might have imagined or the book leads us to expect.
