Spyro the Dragon
Gnasty Gnorc has returned from exile and has unleashed evil magic on the Dragon Realms, trapping the Dragons in crystal and raising an army of Gnorcs. Spyro, with his friend Sparx the Dragonfly, is the only Dragon left who can traverse the six Homeworlds, free the Dragons and save the day. Guide Spyro as he glides through the Dragon Realms, toasting colorful enemies with his fiery breath and encountering countless puzzles and adventures along the way.
Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage!
Spyro has been brought to the land of Avalar to defeat the evil sorcerer Ripto who has brought war to Avalar’s Homeworlds. Each Homeworld is being held captive by Ripto and his minions, and it's up to Spyro to defeat them and bring peace to Avalar’s realms. In this adventure, Spyro powerflames, supershots and headbashes his way through enemies while completing unique challenges such as herding strange beasts, target shooting and defeating ravenous dinosaurs.
Spyro Year of the Dragon
The Dragon Realms are celebrating the ‘Year of the Dragon’ when a mysterious cloaked figure emerges to steal all the Dragon Eggs. Under the spell of the evil Sorceress, an army of Rhynocs is now guarding the helpless eggs in the Forgotten Realms. With new and old friends, Spyro is on a quest to recover the lost eggs, defeat the Rhynoc army and stop the evil Sorceress. Comes with all 3 games despite what a lot of "know it alls" say.I received this game the day it was released and I had to contact customer support for my "guaranteed pre order discount." Received the discount within 24 hours of contacting amazon. Kudos to Amazon there. This game took nearly 20 hours to install and update, super annoying. My internet isnt the fastest but isnt the slowest by any means so be prepared to not play it the first day it arrives. So far so good. Someone mentioned it is harder to glide and I agree. I am having trouble getting to certain places I wouldnt have had issues getting to in the original games. Great graphics, pretty fast, and super fun 😁 I recommend this game to all gamers young and old.I will update my review as good or bad things pop up during my gameplay.

There is only one game is on disc. If you buy this you are telling Activision that it is OK to sell a trillogy and only provide a single game. All the keycodes that provide the access to 2&3 are revokable licenses hidden behind DRM walls, be it PSN or XBL. Activision and those clients can at any time choose to stop supporting the product. Meaning at any time this could be bought and because 2/3rds of the content are behind these walls the ability to download them may no longer be accessible.
This is about consumer responsibility. This is anti consumer behavior. It should not be tolerated under any circumstance. Doing so is not simply a matter of your own choice, because your choice effects ALL gamers.

Spyro reignited trilogy would have easily earned a five star rating. Let's start with the positive:
First,it's Spyro! The gameplay is as fun and addictive as you remember on the PS1. There have also been some added bonuses and levels that were not in the original title. In fact, gaining entry into the first one nets you an easy trophy! Even though old school gamers don't need a reason to pick up this title and play all over again, it's a fun little bonus.
There is now a hintbook in game that acts as a "checklist" for all the goals that need to be accomplished and all the items that need to be collected. A mini map feature has also been added that can be turned on or off at anytime. All of these additions make the game a little better in my opinion, as I remember getting "lost" at certain points in the original. So the issue of "where do I need to backtrack to?" isn't present.
The camera flows much more smoothly now and doesn't get "stuck" against certain objects. The overall controls have been improved and don't feel as clunky as they did on the original. Jumping and gliding to different areas to collect that one last chest or gem isn't as trial and error as it used to be.
The graphics are very beautiful and fluid. This really impressed me during the first few minute of playing the game. I knew a remake of this title would be awesome, but it's almost like playing a cartoon! Watching the flames shoot from Spyro's mouth and turn the surrounding grass to cinders only to magically restore itself moments later is cool. It's also cute to leave the controller alone for a bit and watch Spyro nap and Sparx break the fourth wall. There are now more detailed versions of the dragons that you set free. For instance in the opening artisan level, one dragon holds a lute and wears a renaissance hat while another has a paintbrush while sporting an apron.
Tom Kenny does an excellent job as the voice of Spyro. When I first heard that he was the voice actor chosen, I admit I was a bit concerned that gamers would get a SpongeBob-esque remake. Not the case at all. Tom offers up Spyro as the cute, little mischievous dragon who sounds very similar to the original.
Now unfortunately comes the negative and why I need to dock one star. Believe me, I really hate to do this as I love Spyro and this isn't the fault of the game itself, but rather the publisher. The Spyro trilogy release date was pushed further back only to put "some of the levels" of 2 and 3 on disc. The rest must be downloaded online. There is no excuse for this. Hell, I would have waited a year to get ALL of the content from ALL three games on disc.
This was a very lazy, half-truth deception. I do not pay for digital ghost copies of games. That has zero trade in value. I am not a millennial and am not going to start throwing down money for a game that I will not really own. When the PS4 is dead and the PS5 is out, I'll just no longer be able to play the remake of Spyro 2 and 3 as it's not on disc and no longer available online? After all Sony has offered up so many digital PS2 titles on PS4... Fallout 4 GOTY edition was a bad enough blow. I will not support this practice and encourage companies to continue this type of greed. Had I known this, I would have canceled my pre-order.
Sorry for my rant, but this could have been prevented and easily made into a five star game as having all three Spyro remakes on one disc would have been amazing. If something is going to take up 55GB of my space, then I don't want this type of crap to be pulled. Crash didn't get this kind of treatment, neither should Spyro.

Within a half hour of playing this game, my hard drive ate it. Hard. Got stuck on one of the loading screens for about five minutes. Then my PS4 disconnected from HDMI despite being powered on. I tried to turn it off from the console, no luck, felt that my PS4 was heating up like crazy. I waited a little longer, heard the disc spin off and on like it was going to do something. The power light remained on, I still couldn't turn it off, couldn't spit the disc out. So I unplugged from power. (This is not recommended, I know, but I feared for the hardware because of the heat.)
When I turned the PS4 back on, I got the dreaded error CE-34335-8
"Cannot Start the PS4.
Cannot access system storage."
This PS4 has flawlessly run games such as Horizon Zero Dawn, so in my opinion there is simply no excuse for the loading screens to get stuck and overheat my console. I'm bitterly disappointed, having waited seven months after pre-ordering to play one of my favorite series remastered.
The graphics were great for the half hour I got to play. That's about all I can say for it.

Was so excited for this, but what a huge disappointment. I've been playing the originals while waiting for this release, and this is nothing but a pretty downgrade. Everything looks a million times better, but the controls are garbage. The camera sucks, and the glide is broken. The glide is the most important thing in this game, and you can't even reach basic level one platforms because of it. He dives down immediately once you start to glide and it costs you several feet of height, making most simple long glides near impossible. If I have to waste 20 lives trying to get to a hill that was just one simple jump in the originals, that's a problem. The flight controls on the flying relay levels are awful. What's the point of redoing these if they're unplayable and frustrating? Great, it's pretty now. Who cares. Unplayable.

My brother asked my why I bought this and I said it's because I loved Spyro growing up. He said I'm just all about that nostalgia and it was dumb. Fast forward several ours later of returning home after work and there he is playing. He then admitted it is an incredible game and so fun to play.

I didn't have a Playstation as a kid. I was more of a Nintendo 64 guy. So I never had the pleasure of playing through these games with the iconic video game character that is Spyro.
All 3 games were fantastic and fun to play. Absolutely worth the purchase.

Super fast shipping and the game is great!
I've always loved Spyro. It was one of the first games I played with my son when first I introduced him to gaming.
It was so great that they remastered these games and that we could relive the fun we had beating them over again with updated graphics.
So happy!

No DLC'S, No pay to win etc etc
