Since you get 5 in a package, the price was right. Holds each disc on it's own "page," making access easy. Quality is not flimsy, nor brittle. Good buy for my purposes.
Was initially hesitant because of some of the negative reviews but was pleasantly surprised.
I am capturing, editing, and making DVDs for customers, and bought 4 packages of these because the disc collection i am making spans 8 discs. There is NO way i would sell these (or even give them away).
First off, the clips that hold the discs in place have no play, they are brittle, and they snap off, which then makes them not securely hold the disc in place.
One reviewer mentioned that the clear plastic on the outside is like Saran (TM) wrap. This is accurate. They are so thin i was afraid they would split. Another reviewer mentioned that the spines are brittle and that they split. This is also accurate. If i needed these cases for myself i **might** tolerate the quality (and reinforce them with duct tape) as a way to reduce shelf space, but since i needed something of quality to pass on to customers, these do NOT cut it.
They are cheap, not only in price but in quality and the first one broke just from snapping in a disc.
If you wanna reduce space and don't care about quality, go for it (i guess), but if you expect anything REMOTELY like professional grade (multi-disc) cases of any remotely decent quality, you might as well quickly move along.
