-The week I started wearing it, numerous people commented on my appearance. My favorite was "That dress makes you look so skinny, but also voluptuous!" (It wasn't the dress, it was what I was wearing under it.)
-I have to say this makes a noticeable difference in my posture. I'm sitting straighter, with my shoulders back, even when I'm not actually wearing the Squeem.
-This takes over some of the job of something like Spanx (my tummy is certainly held flat)
-Smell of rubber out of the bag, although this has diminished or I don't notice it anymore.
-Leaves red pressure marks where the stays are, after I've removed it. Not an issue for me really, but the people who've seen me undress have remarked that it "looks painful"
-For me it crumples slightly in the back where my waist begins to flare out into my hips. Again, not a dealbreaker for me, but it means it doesn't lie smooth in the back so I wouldn't wear it under something tight or flimsy out in public.
-The straps are very far back against the arms. This is probably why it's so effective for posture (you have to keep your shoulders back or it's not comfortable) but if you need to have your arms out in front of you for very long it can feel like it's cutting in quite a bit.
Unlike some other posters, I can't say I notice that my waist stays any smaller when I'm out of the Squeem, but I've only been wearing it a week.
Squeem Firm Compression Miracle Vest Shapewear, Black, Extra Small
For reference, I'm 5'4" and now weigh 155#. The Medium Squeem is pretty tight, but the Large I've had for about 3 months is getting too loose. I've lost 10 pounds in the couple months since I bought the first Squeem in Large.
When you have the extra weight like I do, the regular Squeem will sort of push it up in the back so you get a roll of back fat above it. This one with the vest doesn't create that roll. Big plus! If you wear a clingy knit top, the hooks on the front of the Squeem will show through. You can fix that by wearing a fitted tank top over the Squeem and under the shirt.
