Our 8 oz. plastic condiment bottles are BPA FREE and made of soft squeezable Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) recycle code 4 plastic and are natural translucent in color. LDPE can also withstand cold temperatures very well but are not ideal for heated liquids. These bottles are strong and have very good impact resistance.
The bottle measures 5.75 inches in height with cap off, cap on is 7 inches high, with a diameter of 1.9 inches. The opening of the bottle measures 1 1/8 inch making it easy to fill.
The dispensing spout already has a precut hole in the tip, you can easily cut the tip to increase the hole size to accommodate thicker liquids and prevent clumping if your liquids have larger solid particles such as minced onion or garlic.

I bought these to help organize my pantry, and get the oils, vinegars, condiments, sauces, and whatnot under control. All the odd size bottles were taking over my kitchen cabinet. I also recently went on a stir-fry binge with a new wok, and found that I was spending a ridiculous amount of time measuring out small quantities of oils, vinegar, sauces, etc. so I wouldn't have to fumble around with large bottles while trying to cook. Harking back to my restaurant days, I had an epiphany. Hey! Why not get some squeeze bottles!
Long story short, between being able to make my cooking more efficient, and making additional room in my cupboard with the uniform bottle size, life is now wonderful. Well, okay, maybe not LIFE, but it certainly has paid off in the kitchen.
I bought these in both the 8 ounce and 16 ounce, and my only lament is that I can't seem to find this same bottle in a 24 oz or a 32 oz. If I could find those sizes in this brand, I would buy them in a heart beat.
I bought another brand of what was supposed to be 24 oz bottles with tip caps, and they were pretty lousy. Not only were they NOT 24 oz, they were actually 16 oz, they were squishy feeling and flimsy and the caps didn't stay on well. They are making a return trip.
I should note that since I have only had them a few days, I can't speak to long term durability or leaking. But so far, no leaks, caps (and tips) stay on well, and if they don't last a lifetime I don't care. They are reasonable. I would buy these again as replacements for any that die over time.
Buy these. You will like them.
Minor edit: I misspoke. The 16 oz bottles that I bought appear to be made by the same manufacturer (my guess) but are not "Easy Squeeze." The 16 oz bottles are virtually identical. The second set of these that I purchased was actually another of the 8 oz bottles. Wanted to clarify that.
These little guys do just the trick. I do wish they had the cap attached, but pulling the cap off and putting it back on is a piece of cake. I use these to store Franks Hot Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce, 128 Ounce from the gallon bottle, so it makes it extremely convenient to spread it on anything and everything I'm eating. Has totally changed my food game.
I also store some simple syrup in these and it works great. Overall, does the job, wish the plastic pieces connected to the top though!
Just as I'd expected to get for the price. So I'm happy with these.
LDPE is often also used for making some plastic gasoline cans and to hold various other volatile organics. I have found a PDF file that discusses the compatibility of various fluids with LDPE. See below:
