It visibly looks nice.
It works great with appropriate sized citrus halves.
Reasonably easy to clean, as long as I don't let the peel oil dry on the solid half.
Gift box is nice, if one intends to give it away.
Noticeable flex while using it.
Picture shows handle ends not touching. Well, mine touch, so not able to squeeze all the juice out. Don't know if it was like that out of the box, or if constant use gave it a permanent bend.
Sliced part of the citrus fruit faces the perforated half.
Won't get much juice out of older or dryer fruit.
I've found fruit with thinner peels produce more juice, and easier to squeeze. I've only done limes, but look for smooth shiny peel. Peel that is rough or have a lot of "orange peel" texture/dimples won't juice as easy.
How this works is to squeeze the fruit half as it turns it inside-out. Larger diameter fruit (and those with thicker peel) resists turning inside-out. I've found that if the fruit diameter is bigger than the indentation, it helps to tip the sliced half so that the part of the slice that is farthest from the hinge dips inside the cupped part (with the perforations), and the part closest to the hinge will sit on the edge.
