It’s funny, heartwarming, and steamy.
When Nikos gets a call from his mom he hesitates about coming home, but of course he’s going to go to help her. His Dad injured himself and she needs help. His dancing career and home are in Las Vegas however family is important. When he heads back to St. Helena that last thing he expects is to
have feelings for his fathers physical therapist Jenny Doyle. He’s not staying forever. So this thing between them could only be short lived. Maybe.
Jenny is very attracted to Nikos. Who wouldn’t be. Her current boyfriend is a pastor at the local church and won’t take there relationship to the next level. She’s very adamant about not doing anything with Nikos, because she’s his dads therapist.
But something inside her craves him. What will she do?
I was done in by the epilogue. Most touching one i’ve Ever read.
See what happens between these two.
Must read as are the first two-
1-Destiny Laughs brother Nash
2-Destiny Plays brother Christos
Oh Nikos, you naughty, naughty boy! I had a feeling we were in for a wild ride with this one, and we were. But there sure turned out to be more to him than expected, especially when the hometown physical therapist caught not just his eye, but his heart.
Ms. Pike definitely brought out the big guns with Destiny Shines, the final novella in the Santini Brothers series, leaving no emotion untouched. I laughed, I swooned, I cried.
Nikos was so different from his brothers, but no less wonderful. When an unrepentant playboy meets his match, it’s always fun to be along for the ride. And when Nikos comes back home to St. Helenas to help out his parents and meets Jenny for the first time, let’s just say sparks flew and neither one was prepared for what was to come. These two were just terrific- the banter and the sexual tension, the feelings between them, you felt it all.
Funny, sexy, and sweet, Destiny Shines was the perfect novella to end this series, I so enjoyed getting to know this family. And can I just say I loved that epilogue?!? What a way to say good-bye!
I fell for Nikos a little in the previous books. He is the wild child and bad boy wrapped up into one. A perfect combo. I loved his date idea with Jenny. It was romantic and thoughtful even though it didn't end that way. The hospital scene right after had me laughing so hard I snorted. Jenny is perfect for him as well. She challenges him mentally and physically. They are a perfect match.
We met Nikos in books 1 and 2 of the Santini series. Since then, I wanted to know more about this sexy, dancing bad boy. He is every bit as naughty as I thought he would be, but he showed a different side as well. Even his brothers were surprised!
When he meets Jenny, the physical therapist has him questioning what he thought he wanted. The attraction is strong on both sides and although Jenny says she wants to keep things professional, she doesn’t stand a chance against the determined Nikos.
Their witty banter was refreshing and their sexy phone calls were HOT! Leslie once again gives us a great story, a group of wonderful characters, and writing that flows so well, the time you spend reading just flies by.
Nicos and Jenny's story was so enjoyable. I loved watching Nicos come back to help his dad recover from a fall and how he is completely smitten with his physical therapist, Jenny. Jenny tries to fight Nicos off, knowing that he's leaving, but in the end she falls head over heals for him.
My favorite part of this book is when they are reenacting a scene from Dirty Dancing. I grew up with that movie and it's one of my favorite scenes ever! I laughed and shed a few tears during this short story. It's a quick read, but a good one. I really enjoyed it.
