I bought some Craftsman drawer liners ($21) after purchasing a Craftsman tool chest. Unfortunately, I didn't order enough so I ordered the STACK-ON drawer liners.

I compared the two and they were virtually the same density and thickness as the Craftsman drawer liners. The foam material appears to be exactly the same. I wouldn't be surprised if they are made by the same manufacturer. I would get the STACK-ON liners because they are less than half the price of the Craftsman liners.

On a side note, I had some Craftsman drawer liners that I bought over 15 years ago and they were more dense and thicker than both the new Craftsman and STACK-ON liners. The old Craftsman liner appeared to be in similar condition as the new liners. They were not brittle, sticky, or stiff. I expect the STACK-ON and new Craftsman liners to do the same.

I built a new tool chest out of wood with 12 drawers. I wanted to soften the sound as tools are thrown into the drawers, as well as protect the finish on the wood.

The rolls are 16 11/16 x 112 inches. If you order 1, you get one; the Amazon picture shows two rolls, but you get one. You may see an option to buy 3 as one unit, but be sure to check prices: I found that the price for three as one unit was more than three units of one each.

The material is a plastic, rubberish foam pressed into a web pattern. It is not adhesive or at all sticky, but it resists skidding once placed on the surface, because it is not slick. It has a faint smell if you put your nose up to it, but not objectionable, and will probably fade with time.

It is fast and easy to cut. Use scissors, or a straight edge and a utility knife. Because I needed 12 of the same size and wanted them to be reasonably accurate, I cut a template out of cheap, thin plywood for exactly the size I needed, then checked it against the drawers. The box bottom from the case that my three rolls came in, unfolded, had a second life as a workbench top protector while cutting.

Once cut, it readily lies flat on the drawer bottom; no sign of curling from being rolled up. I noticed no difference between the top and the bottom of the material. For those pieces that came out just a little long, the web of the material can take up the wrinkles or, of course, you can trim them.

There are cheaper products out there. I think you get what you pay for; the reviews for other products indicate various problems such as bad smell, leaving a residue, or wearing out prematurely.

BOTTOM LINE: four stars, "I Like It". I reserve five stars for products that exceed my expectations; this one meets my expectations at its price point. If I ever have any problems with this material, I will update the review, but I don't expect any.

I may be a neat freak, but i like this stuff. I'm redoing my garage cabinets and i put Sure Grip Drawer Liner down. It keeps my tools in place when i open up draws. I like it because now all my tools go back exactly where they came from and don't shift around. It also helps to not scuff up your draws. Works as advertised.

Pros:
1. Thick and cushy
2. Once unrolled, it stays flat. Doesn't curl up like the cheapo one I bought at a local discount hardward store that rhymes with Arbor Crate.

Cons:
1. A bit pricy.
2. Contrary to what you see in the picture and despite the plural sounding name, you only get one roll per order

Summary:
I used this to line my tool chest. Easy to measure, easy to cut, stays put. I haven't seen any of my hand tools rolling around when I open and close the drawers. So far it has held up well. It has not disintegrated, or left sticky marks on my tools, or shifted with the movements of the drawers.

The extra I've used as a gripper to open stuck jar lids, as a cushion between my cutting board and kitchen counter so it stays put, and under the kitchen rug to keep it in place.

First of all, some of the other reviews knock the ad for showing 2 rolls but only getting one. Yeah, it shouldn't show that in the ad, but I can tell you that this is the cheapest your going to get these 17" X 112" rolls at!! I thought I could do better & went to Ebay. Not thinking I bought 2 rolls for $31. If I'd a order 2 rolls from this ad, it would have cost me obviously, $16.40! And you'll get 5 drawers per roll on a 26" wide tool chest. You'll need 3 rolls if you have more than 10 drawers on a 26" wide tool chest combo.

These liners tend to be sticky, depending on what you put in the drawers. In other words, you'll pull the pad up slightly on some items you put in your drawers. The last tool box I lined a long time ago, I obtained textured rubber mat, and loved it. But I couldn't find this anymore, and this stuff is cheap enough if you pay about $8 a roll. It's the cheapest I found for this stuff. One more thing, this stuff is not indestructible. It can tear if your not careful, but most of the time I think it will work out fine.

Bought a craftsman 9 drawer tool chest and bought this roll for the bottom 5 drawers. It fits pretty nicely and stays flat with no adhesive of any kind. The price was much more reasonable than the craftsman brand liner.

i live in an apartment and often work on my stuff on the street so i wheel my mechanic box around on a dolly. this has helped trmendously with tools bouncing around while the cart is in motion. make sure to measure and mark off your cut line with a marker as the bubbles themselves are not positioned in straight lines and relying on them will result in crooked cuts
