I can see why this comedy series failed: it was precisely aimed at me and I never watched. It was on Fox, I think, but I never saw a promo. Starring the incredible Pamela Anderson and Christopher Lloyd(the mad professor from Back to the Future), the show was about nerds and intellectuals frequenting a brainiac bar, one serving coffee and letting wise discussion and quiet reading a la Barnes & Noble. Well, Pam Anderson was many(many!) things, but never the comedienne that Sophia Loren was. Her acting was wooden and this made the entire show stop dead in its tracks. Christopher Lloyd was underutilized; he just walked thru the scenes. Overall, it coulda and shoulda been great, but it came and went and I never saw it. If you can buy the whole series cheaply, it's worth a look...
Didn't think it would fly at first, but I got into it. Good co-stars and yeah, silly story lines but enough to make you laugh for a half-hour (23 minute) weekly sit com. Still think they should have kept it going.
I bought this on a whim and my wife raised her eyebrows, thinking she knew why I picked a show with Pamela Anderson as one of the stars. Of course that's why I wanted it, but to my surprise, the Mrs likes it even more. She's been playing it on repeat for several weeks and is still finding material to laugh at.
This is one of the funniest series ever!! After watching Stacked on disc , we found and purchased it on Amazon. The problem is; the end of every episode is cut off early and jumps to next one . Sadly some of the funniest bits are at the very ends. We’ll probably buy the disc set anyway.

I thought this was Pamela Anderson's best work. Whatever you may have thought about the gal, she ain't no dumb blonde. Why it only got one season is just one of those things like Firefly I guess.

This is a great series of comedy episodes set in a bookstore where Pamela Anderson was employed. I enjoyed the humor and the actors were all well cast. Too bad the series was cancelled.
OK, you caught me out: I bought this because I'm totally infatuated with Pam. My expectations, other than visual, were low to non-existent.
Boy, was I wrong (well, except for the visual expectations- they were all met and exceeded!).
This little, unfortunately short-lived, sitcom was HILARIOUS! And intentionally so- it was very well written, superbly acted, and production standards were first rate. And I was hugely surprised at how well Pam could ACT! Please accept this critique at face value- I'm not at all being tongue in check or ironic- this absolute doll actually has excellent comic timing, obviously put time and effort into her lines, and pulled off the ditsy blond act as only a very intelligent, motivated actor can do. YES SHE WAS ACTING! And well!
The supporting cast also took the sitcom seriously, and everyone of the four ensemble actors brought something to the table: Brian Scolaro, Elon Gold, Marissa Jaret Winokurnot, and the incomparable Christopher Lloyd (Back to The Future), who plays an irascible retired NASA scientist, who was perpetually holed up in the little book store quipping on life and love....
I really wish the series had lasted longer than its 19 episodes; but I guess in Hollywood, as elsewhere, only the good die young...
I've remained a fan of Pam's for a long time and so I got this as part of my collection. It's a harmless, light hearted comedy which anyone can enjoy. It also stars Christopher Lloyd who for me is a standout character - probably the funniest in the show. There's also a couple of brilliant cameos from the beautiful Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy. For dvd it's got a very good picture quality. If you're a Pamela Anderson fan there's nothing to complain about!

For some reason I find this show very funny. And it isn't the obvious charms of the Lead... This comedy is not original or innovative but it does have more than a few good laughs and a lot of them at Pamela Anderson's expense. So Pamela can't act. But she can play someone playing Pamela Anderson. And the supporting cast are more than up to their job especially Christopher Lloyd. There is a good stream of guest stars from the music and glamour world.
I don't think Pamela is a great actress , and I am not big into the entertainment world. However, she certainly was good in this series. A bit surprised really as I have never seen her do any comedy. The writing was well done and the show was to me any way a unique style and blend of comedy. I have watched the entire series, and if I ever need a funny moment I can just pop the dvd in and laugh.Campy in a funny way.
3.0 out of 5 starsActors are fine, but the scenario is poor.

It might be fine to stereotype Pamela Anderson. Anyway, that is one of her characters as an actor.
However, I think the scenario writer didn't have to pick up topics which are not very much appropriate to viewers if the TV station intended to have it for all age group. Having this said, the actors are great. But you might not see all episodes after viewing a couple of them as I think you would be annoyed by the themes of episodes.

I thought that the transaction was completed quickly and efficently. I recieved my product about a week before I was scheduled to so that made me quite happy. Particuarly since England and America had very bad bouts of snow at the time. The information I was supplied with was exactly right, and my product arrived in exactly the same condition as described
