Stacy’s original sandwich cart in downtown Boston was hugely popular due to her selling healthy and rolled delicious pita sandwiches on fresh pita bread. To reward her loyal fans, Stacy started serving up incredibly savory, seasoned pita chips while they waited in line. She knew passion, hard work, and using only high quality, and carefully selected ingredients were what her customers deserved and it was an immediate hit. The rest, as they say, is history!

We bake real pita from our own special recipe, slice it into chips, then bake it again for a delicious crunch. We think time is an essential ingredient, which is why we devote up to 14 hours to bake each batch of Stacy’s Pita Chips. That’s just how long it takes to reach perfection.

I really like the naked chips, but the whole wheat ones, which they do not have here, are even better.
These are very expensive - over $3/bag - in the regular supermarket. The prices here are really about 1/2 of everywhere else (including the warehouse stores)
The pita chips are thin enough to enjoy right out of the bag, but thick enough to be useful with dips. You definitely need to try with hummus because it seems like the shape and size were made perfectly for dipping. Best of all, the light seasoning doesn't overpower the flavor.
Some I'll eat anyway for the sake of a healthy alternative - but do admit they aren't very good and other times it's just not worth spending so much more money for something I have to force myself to eat and hate every minute of it, and even worse it increases the craving for "REAL FOOD" that was made for taste.
However, these "naked" chips are actually very good, and chip worthy. I sought them out from my pantry on purpose yesterday. There's a difference between wanting a yummy snack and settling on a healthy one and actually purposely wanting to eat something, and it happens to also be healthier than chips. These are chip worthy in every way. They are salty enough, crunchy enough, and have enough taste for you to want them, and enjoy them and not feel like, now I want a real chip. I was very pleased and very surprised...however, I do not feel the same way about the cinnamon and sugar variety -those are nowhere near what I wanted. I was thinking they would be like a cinnamon and sugar bagel chip but they are not - the pita taste takes over the tiny bit of cinn/sugar on them.Read more ›
For snackers who are new to Stacy's, they're NOT like potato chips. These are baked pita chips and quite dense/hard by comparison. They'll give your jaw a workout. Many of the pieces are large rectangles that are not bite-sized. I like to crush down the pieces so they are smaller shards and easier to eat.
Stacy's pita chips are pricier than regular potato chips. The cheapest I can find them is about $0.50/oz when on sale, so with Subscribe and Save, you are getting a good value.
I purchased these based on the positive reviews here on Amazon. I opened the box and pulled out one of the bags. The bags and serving size seemed small at first. But as these are mostly flat pieces that bunch together in the bag, the servings are actually quite adequate and satisfying. Will certainly be ordering more of these. Yum yum yum.
2. not greasy
3. strong enough to pick-up any dip
4. taste nice
here is the con:
I could not taste Parmesan or garlic.... To some it maybe a deal breaker... but for snack, it's fine... just don't expect those flavors and you'll be fine
