Retired outlaw Nathaniel Reed (Trace Adkins) has settled down with a family. But when a US Marshal (Kim Coates) seeks his revenge, Reed must return to his criminal ways, becoming known as "Texas Jack," one of history's most infamous stagecoach robbers.
My husband and I thought this was one of the worst movies we had ever seen. It reminded us of the 30 minute western tv shows we watched as children stretched to 90 minutes. We also felt the plot was not even as good as those old western tv shows!!!!!
This is ABSOLUTELY the most ridiculous western movie we have ever watched! Trace Adkins should be ashamed to be in this film. The producers and the director must have been really naive.... certainly they must have been rookies in their industry.... a real waste of money!
Not exactly a blockbuster western, but it fills the hole till one comes along. The story was satisfying enough. Trace plays Nathaniel Reed very well, almost like he knew the man. Kim Coats, was awesome as Tig on Sons of Anarchy, sort of overacted his role as Calhoun, but it could've been worse. Direction was solid, but editing was strictly amateur night.
My teenage son is a fan of Trace Adkins and asked me to rent this. I took a chance knowing it probably wouldn't be very good. It was so bad that my son gave up half way through and went to his room. In his word, it's "lame". The story line is ridiculous and the acting is equivalent to a high school play. It should have a $1 movie rental. I paid $5.99. I'm almost offended.
