Can't wait for the next book - meanwhile I'll be re-reading Dream me off my Feet.
Although not necessary I highly recommend that reading Stagepass before reading DMOMF.
Since DREAM's story mostly focused on lead singer JT, STAGEPASS offered a welcome look into the lives of the other band members. Just a taste, mind you... and while it doesn't leave you with a cliffhanger AT ALL, it does leave you wanting to know more. I loved Rafe, Ian, and Clay's stories, but I am positively DYING to know what happens with Paul.
I loved the insider knowledge the author provides about the music industry, from the technical aspects of rehearsals to the preparation of embarking on a world tour. I loved the insight into the guys' personalities. I loved the moments of steam and angst and humor. But mostly, I loved how I felt all gooey and smiley and intrigued while reading this book. (I also loved the cover so much that I bought the paperback!)
Again, it is a joy to read Ms. Kisner's books. With all the garbage flooding the indie market, it is positively refreshing to read a well-written story that isn't riddled with typos and bad grammar. This was a quick read, but you get a lot of story within these pages. Romance? Check. Giggles? Check. Super-hot rock stars? DOUBLE-CHECK.
STAGEPASS is the perfect kickoff to the "Sex, Love, and Rock N' Roll" series. So, what are you waiting for? Stop reading this review right now and get this book! You'll love it. :)
An awesome taste of the characters that are only starting to flesh out in Dream Me Off My Feet. If you want to know the inner workings of a band this is the series for you.
You get some of the back-ground of the guys, but nothing that you will get from reading the book.
I really DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THE BOOK. THE BOOK IS OUTSTANDING. In fact, it is so GOOD that it is number one of all my read books. You can not get any higher than that.
HAPPY READING MY FRIENDS........
What I loved about this book is that it was a great insight into all of the band members. I really got to know their personalities and what each of them were like and separately they are so completely different, but when they are together, they are one bad-ass band that kicks it hard across the country.
This was a great insight into the lives of JT (who we spend a lot of time getting to know in Dream Me Off My Feet), Rafe, Paul, Ian and Clay. You get to know them individually and it is a great lead into many more fabulous books in this series. I have so many questions that I know are begging to be answered in upcoming books by Stevie Kisner and I cannot wait!
This band is hot in Dream Me Off My Feet, but now with Stagepass, I feel like I know the characters and their lives so much more intimately. This book is well written and detailed. I loved all the insight to this hot band and I cannot wait for another book by Stevie Kisner to keep me going with Slanker Knox!
Stevie does an amazing job with the characters and the storyline. Although they are all part of the band, they each have very different perspectives on life. I cannot wait for more from this series!
This is set just a few weeks before Dream Me Off My Feet and shows you the pre-tour routine and how everyone gets ready. You get to glimpse in to each band member’s life, we watch them and see all sides of the same situation and time period. I don’t normally like reading the same scene written by a different perspective but the way it’s done here makes it so it doesn’t feel like you are reading the same information.
