I'm not a great reviewer, so know that before proceeding. We have been filtering our water for years, after much research we made the decision to distill. It's been a solid month. We have distilled at least 3 gallons per day, every single day for 32 days. This thing is a tank. Even when getting it unpacked, it seemed very sturdy, solid, heavy. Very simple to operate, literally a button. Easy to clean, we "lightly" clean after every single use, it takes maybe 3-4 minutes, and then do a deep clean with vinegar about every 10 days. That takes maybe 15 minutes. One gallon takes +/- 5:30-6:00 hours. Currently, during the warmer times, we keep it in the garage. It does give off a fair amount of heat. It also about as loud as a medium sized floor fan. However, we have a good place for it in the winter and will likely move inside. The noise is not loud enough to deter us. Everything fits very snuggle (cords, lid etc) The thing just works, every time and honestly exceeded our expectations for quality of fit, function and appearance. If I had a "do-over", I'd for sure buy it again and would suggest it to anyone I know.

True Steam Distiller?
Love this H2O distiller for its large capacity and modern look.The unit fits nicely under the upper cabinets in my kitchen. The down side is that you must assemble the glass receptacle which requires about 30 minutes of time and your own tools. The unit does have instruction (with poor quality photos) but for this price, the manufacturer should have assembled everything. Just seems like laziness on their part. It also means that if I don’t assemble it right, or it comes loose, I could get scalded with hot water. The other odd thing, it comes with a filter system, but if this is a true distiller, you would get steam cooling into clean water and no filter would be required. This tells me that it may not be a true distillation process which is greatly disappointing. The Sellers were great however, and it shipped quickly without damage.Update: I have been using this distiller for a while now and love it! Highly recommend.
