Extra Large Design: All together when boxed up, the bento measures 5.5" wide, 8" long and 2.75" deep and fits about 8 to 9 cups of food adding that extra depth of 3/4" compared to regular lunch boxes. 70 oz capacity

Leak Proof & Dishwasher Safe: The product is completely leak proof and dishwasher safe. However, for the lid we advise to wash with soap under cold water. I was looking to swap all of my awful plastic containers and found these! The large lunchbox is big enough for my huge salads to take to our pool or to the beach. Also the little container could be used for salad dressing or if you wanted something separate from the rest of the food. Love this alternative to plastic containers and it’s DISHWASHER SAFE. I'M SOLD.

The next thing I’d get is the container with compartments for my daughter who hates her food touching but for now this holds our lunch for the day. Plus we live in Florida and it’s hot and sometimes in the sun so I think it will save our food!

Update: we took it to the pool the other day and the container kept all food the way it was when I packed it. It even stayed pretty cool until we ate it. I wish I took a photo but I will next time. This is a game changer!

Don't put it in your dishwasher

If you put this lunch box in the dishwasher, the small metal insert box will warp and break. The larger one probably would too, with enough washes. Hand wash gently and pat dry with a clean towel. That being said, I like all that I can fit in this lunch box, and it fits perfectly in my Columbia lunch bag. The seal is a great touch though I doubt I'd ever just fill the thing with soup, ha.

What did kind of rub me the wrong way is when previously discussing this product, the company said they would send me another small insert box after the first one broke but then never did. Oh well, it's the big box that matters to me.

If I could I, would rate this lunchbox with negative stars I would. When I first got this lunchbox in February this year, I was very happy with it. Even though the box is supposed to be stainless steel, I was very careful with it, I only ever packed snacks or sandwiches in it. Anything even remotely acidic would not be packed in this lunch box. I also hand washed the box and dried it immediately. Imagine my surprise this morning when I notice rust on the inside on the box on both sides where the clasps are attached to the box. (Please reference the attached pictures). I chucked it in the bin and went back to my stainless steel tiffin that I got in India. Not worth the price. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

My only complaint is that the small inner container is wrapped in plastic when shipped and the whole point of using this product is to reduce plastic waste. This product could have easily used cloth or nothing at all. Other than that, this seems like a great product.
