Very well-made straws. Kids love them. Actually, the adults love them too. It's nice to use a sturdy straw instead of a wobbly, cracking plastic straw that can slowly poison you. Also, it's safe for the toddlers and babies. Nothing is going to be chewed offf and swallowed, or cracked and possibly scratch your precious little ones. Plastic straws are notorious for those things when little ones get their spaced-out chompers or itchy gums on them.
You need to buy small wire cleaners, like the ones you might use to clean bottle top openings or coffee maker parts. Make sure they are thin.
And be aware that the bent straws are more difficult to clean at the bend. This is maybe my only complaint. Because I hate the idea of any kind of build-up or gunk layering the inside of the straw. If this bothers you, get a set that only contains the straight metal straws (which are preferable, in my opinion).
